  1. The key is getting there after the doors open... I planned all of my stores for about 45 minutes to an hour after they opened. I didn't miss out on any deals that I was looking for and I didn't have to deal with the crazies who were there all night. Here's more of my list that I remember now : crochet scarves for $4 each, couch pet cover for $8, plush fuzzy blanket for $6, nice phone gloves for $12 ... I had a good year
  2. That would be fantastic! Thanks! Your mailbox might be full... my message isn't sending.
  3. I bought so much stuff this year. Tea kettle for $7. Men's hair clipper kit for $8, two dog beds $8 each, fleece lined leggings <$3 each, misc clothing, yarn, a comforter/pillow set for $30, uhhh other stuff I can't remember lol. Everyone I encountered was SO nice with exception to one crazy person who flew around a blind corner in the parking lot and almost hit me. My cousin thought the lady was screaming at me from inside her car, but I'm sure she was just yelling "I'm so sorry for driving like an idiot, I suck! Sorry again!" (Denial bc I won't let that lady ruin my day :])
  4. as long as you have underinsured/uninsured coverage, right? I don't think that is automatically included in every policy ??
  5. Well, I hope everything gets sorted out for you and the $25K that is able to be used for property damage with state min insurance is enough to get your car and garage fixed. I know people were asking if airbags will deploy at 15 mph, and the answer, i think, is yes. Some vehicles have sensors that measure deceleration as a trigger for airbag deployment - a car running into a brick wall is a classic example of rapid deceleration that will trigger airbag deployment. Hopefully the first officer that came out gets put in line about how to handle a situation like that.
  6. soo... he told the cop he had a permit and a gun?... am I missing something? I don't understand the problem?
  7. I didn't intend it to be directed at anyone in particular.
  8. There was a reminder posted earlier in this thread as well.
  9. Just a reminder to everyone that racism is not tolerated in this forum. Please be conscientious about what you are posting!
  10. I don't know if I'll make it either. Although, I always say that then make it...
  11. Its pretty tough... you have to jump through a bunch of hoops... casper has you running errands and stuff for him before he'll even consider it. Costs a shit ton of money too. http://ohioriders.net/index.php?/store/product/5-supporting-sponsor/ or this.

    Allergies

This is definitely true. I didn't have allergies to anything until I moved to the city. I developed the cat and seasonal allergies sometime after I turned 19.

    Allergies

    that would be a sight!
  14. I'll keep an eye on those sites to see if there's anything that applies to my skill set! Thanks for the suggestion! I've been checking that site every once in a while too. I like that they list your salary point, makes it a lot easier to know what they are looking for. I think the job I talked to them about was just in high demand, so they could be picky. I bet a lot of their engineering/research jobs are in high demand though.

    Allergies

I think I'm just going to shove tissues in my nose while i ride I haven't had the allergies officially identified, but I know that I have some reaction during the month in the fall when everyone has allergy problems, dust from shredding paper, and contact with cats all get me. I don't personally own cats, but there are some cats in my living spac, but I don't touch them and that helps. I also run a hepa filter and a high micro-particle rated filter on the furnace.

    Allergies

I have wild swings in my sleep patterns with OTC meds. Last night I didn't fall asleep until 6:30am, so this morning. Other meds I've tried make me fall asleep instantly, which isn't conducive to having a job, or a life in general. I don't know if its every med that does this or just happens to be the ones I tried I think I need to try the flushing the nose thing. That sounds crazy and unpleasant!! ^ That's what my doctor gave me too. I've been symptom treating for a while with nasal decongestant, but my sinus irritation lead to an uncontrollable cough, so I ended up with the nose spray and an inhaler - woo. Anyway, the spray helped for about 10 days then that was it.

    Allergies

How do you deal with them? I've been having sneeze attacks that sometimes go 10 sneezes in a row. I can't imagine how ridiculous I look when sneezing in my helmet as my reflex to cover my mouth kicks in lol. I've had no luck with allergy meds bc they either put me right to sleep or give me insomnia. Anyone else struggle with this toward the end of riding season? What do you do to control your allergies in general or just for rides?
  19. That is exciting! Congrats and good luck
  20. Do we have anyone (HVAC people, maybe grape) that could send me a quote for a Lennox XP25 heat pump with installation? I'm having a hard time finding numbers online! or, if any of you have a guy, please send his number my way! Thanks.
  21. Took my last ride of the season tonight. I'm still shivering 3 hours later
  22. Pretty typical of me, but I'll probably make my mind up in May.
  23. Z1R is gone. I still have the EXO
