It takes many years to acquire this much useless information No kidding though, i have a stack about 3 feet tall of catalogs that i go through in my spare time. It's one way to learn the product. Plus its easy to learn stuff when it's you passion.

Are the bars stock? You might also want to check that the routing on the cable is correct.

We have all kinds of coolant at Iron Pony. Honda, Yamaha, Spectro, Engine Ice, Water Wetter, and Liquid Performance. If you're just topping off go for the Yamaha, or Honda. Really about the same. The Honda is 50/50, Yamaha 60/40.
