  1. So I hear, the guy is going to be fine, after a six-week coma recovery. I'll be keeping you updated if you want.
  2. http://forums.nonewbs.com/showthread.php?t=257080 This is a non-bike-centric forum I'm a part of, with a few other members of OR. Pretty baller shots. a KTM and a BMW head through Mexico from Detroit and back up through New Mexico.
  3. short list lol 1989 Nissan Sentra 1995 Pontiac Bonneville 2002 Buick LeSabre 1990 VX800 1985 VF1100 S
  4. Alcohol was suspected in the crash. No pity. I feel more for his family. Night riding, no helmet, drunk. Failure.
  5. awful idea. don't kid yourself; it doesn't. The judge is a gimmicky piece of shit... and this is coming from a guy with a Taurus. .410 is awful and there's no spread. You can definitely miss and you're not guaranteed to do all that much damage if you're using anything beneath slugs.
  6. My bike is for sale... basically the same as the Volusia except it's a standard, it needs some engine work, and is much cheaper. Check the bike shop section,
  7. Vermillion to Mayfield Heights, after dark. I'm fucking fweezing.
  8. patience, young padawan. tomorrow morning i'm going to get it. Sweet, we have diametrically opposed schedules. 8-5 at the bank during the week. weekend might have a saturday morning shift and i work a second job in the evenings on saturday, sunday and thursday nights.
  9. Actually I heard the 500s were immune. Weird.
  10. I believe it. I got up to about 6k on the tach in third gear and was literally like
  11. mine's got one, apparently. need brake pads, fork seals, and perhaps a master cylinder in the rear. that's not even $100 worth of parts.
  12. Yeah but basically just brakes... Rear is really bad. I expect it to be a master cylinder. front feels low on fluid. Other than that just fork seals. Signals and electrics feel strong. Engine is a MOTHERF¥CKER. Wow.
  13. It was dark by the time I decided I had to have it. Soooon. Blackandsilversabre.jpg cosmetically it's rough but the engine feels fine. No sputtering, no noises when there shouldn't be. Needs the brakes handled up. Front feels spongy. No head work though, haha.
  14. V65 Crew? EDIT - Now with pics! There are some pretty serious cosmetic details to sort out. This turn signal fixture is about the worst of them, but the rears are held up by a bungee cord? lol. I'll epoxy this broken one together (front left), and then I'm gonna tap out a new location for them on the license plate frame I think.
  15. 1100 is a fair price for any running bike. The mileage is a bit ridiculous... But if it's in good shape I can't see much of a problem with it.
