Anyone in the Dayton Area know about this Tikes Cycle Shop?
Ryan_c_F replied to Ryan_c_F's topic in Daily Ride
thanks for the heads up guys! love this site. I've got sort of an oddity bike and the last time I took it to the shop they had it for damned near a month, for just a clutch replacement. Thinking of trading it in for something a bit different. Glad to hear that he's a stand-up guy. Might make a pilgrimage down for a new ride lolz. I'll be sure to let Dayton crew know if I do. -
Seems that they specialize in old motorcycles and such. Are they reputable? I might be interested in trading up for a more powerful ride. They've got quite a few of them on craigslist at the moment. Let me know, thanks!

would have been accurate if the guy had hit both kids in one roundhouse motion.

In any case, the fact that you're feeling "truely sad" about some terrorist asshole who sponsored rocket attacks on civilian targets, fired from school playgrounds, gives me the distinct impression that I want nothing to do with your further opinions, so for the sake of the community's good spirits I'm just going to IL you and move on.

The first and fifth amendments have something to say about this law

Ironic that Israel became the dominant sovereign and militaristic nation they are because the "Palestinians" couldn't stop rioting and killing people  This is before the Holocaust, mind you. Originally, the whole area was populated in relative peace. The problems only started in the 20s. The people in the Gaza strip would have you believe Israel just waltzed in and sat down in '47... totally not the case.

We couldn't tell. If you're going to be angry at anyone, be angry at Britain. They owned the land that you call "Palestine" before Israel existed. Also, I thought you were going to calm down and stay on topic here?

check out the used guns section at budsgunshop.com it's in ohio so you might be able to arrange pickup locally, and they usually have a good selection.

If I ever get money this might be my choice. COnsidering it's not freakin' 3000 dollars like the bushmaster version.

I have a loaded nine millimeter next to my bed, unsecured. Should I be running atm?

Yeah, those PAX people sound really logical. "Guns should be kept in a gun safe with the ammunition locked separately or they pose a real risk to your child. " IF THE GUN CAN GET TO ITS OWN AMMUNITION WE ARE ALL DOOMED. DOOMED I TELL YE.

hook it up with a link and the segment of video you need.

This is a multi-season problem, so please bear with me as I explain the entire sequence of events. For reference, the engine is a Suzuki 805cc V-twin lifted from the Intruder cruiser. Bought a 1990 VX800 a few years back, first bike. First season is flawless riding, really. Put it away. Bring it out the next season, clean the gas, change the oil (smells like gas Maybe just a hallucination? ) Take a short ride, no problems. Yay riding! Month later - clutch slipping. Take it into the shop, shop has it for a full month, $900 later, new clutch plates/springs, miscellanities fixed up too. Rides great. Towards the end of last riding season, I lose my job, and the engine problem decides to rear its head. Rear cylinder floods frequently. Awful. Can't figure out why. Petcock works fine (tank off, no leaking with the manual petcock in any configuation). Tear the engine down to the carb needles ( as apart as possible ). Nothing seems fishy. Nothing sticking, fouled, etc. We find water in sparkplug bays. Upon assembly, we find that the rear cylinder is getting gas properly, is carbuereted properly, and runs, but is puffing white smoke on every hit. Some radiator sealant works initially... but riding the bike to be garaged at my parents' house, it stops running again, starts puffing white smoke. Thinking head gasket or cracked water jacket (water-cooled engine). I'm mechanically retarded, and broke as a mfer. I can't sell the bike if it doesn't run, and don't have money for a mechanic repair. Can anyone here clue me into the problems that I might be having? And if so, could some good samaritan come help me fix my baby so that I can be non-depressed come springtime? Payment will be in the form of modest cash amounts and beer. Possibly home cooking and funny jokes. I'm a good cook.

everyone should calm down...

Has the price come down at all? My dad is looking for one of these but his ceiling is significantly lower.

Also - related topic: Some ESPN commentator got fired for posting this blog entry. It's a great read. http://www.flipcollective.com/2010/01/26/if-you-rebuild-it-they-will-come-by-paul-shirley/comment-page-33/#comment-2738 Read on; it's very well-written.

You're forgetting Israel. Israel is keeping the entire region in check. If Iran gets froggy and says, "hey, we're starting nuclear testing next week, aaaaaand we're going to be launching missiles on Monday," best believe that Israel will have planes in the air by Friday and be back home before shabbos.

Perhaps, if the culture in Mexico didn't involve coming here DESPITE our attempts to remove them, it wouldn't be such a chore to get aid from the North. We do help Mexico. Their problem is threefold: A) Drug wars. Mexico is dangerous right now for anyone, but especially "rich estadounidenses." Until the violence stops it's going to be tough to convince anyone to go into improving Mexico from the ground up. B) Mexico doesn't have the sympathy vote right now. 200,000 people haven't just died overnight. Hence, people don't feel obliged to send money by celebrities on TV. And, along those lines... C) the illegals ruin the Mexican image for everyone. Having done business with companies in Mexico, I know that there are a lot, and I do mean a LOT, of very talented and successful businessmen on the ground to the South, especially in the agrarian sector. There is work to be had. The problem (if you can call it that) is that Mexico doesn't have the kind of socialist reforms that we do, hence they're not able to leech off the government half so well as the poor/lazy folks statesside can. Nor can they depend on a minimum wage to support a lifestyle. Hence they come here to work for Wal Mart and Home Depot. Further problems include a devalued currency (nearly 50% as of the beginning of last year), NAFTA trade tariff elimination pricing certain crops and goods out of the reach of domestic production profitability... it's just that none of these problems add up to the "crisis" level that would motivate other countries to help.

I f*cking hate Harley. I'll never ride one as long as I live.

lame list imho The Vincent Black Knight? Armies still used horses when that bike was made, he's lucky it was able to move at all. And the ZX14/Hayabusa are designed the way they are with high-speed aero in mind, and are supposed to look ridiculous and exotic. How didn't the Tomahawk make it on this list? Also, this guy is retarded, the Brutale is sex incarnate.

haayyyy head gasket troubles with mine though

You drive 3 hours to see Red White & Boom for 15 minutes, an d 4 hours back. But you live 10 minutes away. AAAAHAHAHAHAHAH so true!

If he invited her to live in proximity to him, and was aware of his "condition" ahead of time, he was obliged to make a good-faith effort to at least inform her of the condition, at which time the contract could have been considered in light of the new terms of the living arrangement. he didn't. Doesn't get much simpler than that. Additionally, what the hell, sleeping in your car? Right underneath the power lines on the street? Is this guy retarded?

Way to freak out on us there, bro. Consider your point taken..
