Rode it crashed it. Putting it back together. Oops

chinese “Amagrom” arrives tomorrow as well.

    lol what happened?

Also good luck getting a truly firm brake lever on an sv. You may need to re-evaluate your expectations for those stock calipers.

Can’t say I have seen someone use just one lever guard before.

Someone hits my clutch side, eh I may loose some drive or something. Someone hits my brake - I could go over the bars. It's more common than you think at the budget club racing level.

I tried to register with Gwen for Friday’s PTR and found out that it has been cancelled due to low enrollment.

Just wanted to pass it along in case anyone else was planning a weekend trip. Hopefully Sat/Sun is better.

Man that place blows right now for bikes...

Tires purchased. I’ll be at PIRC for the endurance race and sprints this weekend - getting tires mounted and spectating. Not racing. Maybe helping my friends do endurance.

I doubled down and bought parts to fix my leaking MC, and then also won an auction for a 2007 R6 master.  The latter is much better, but may ship more slowly...

should have fresh rubber on the bike Monday, and the master cylinder should be on the bike Tuesday. Cross your fingers.

I also have an r6 master + stock calipers on my sv and it made a world of difference.

I've had an r6 master + r6 calipers on my 2009 gsxr 1k  and that setup was nice for the money.

You would be surprised at how many race them. Ninjette forum is full of them.

I know how much 300's/400's are raced lol.

But no track org is going to cover track rental costs at a big bike track only allowing 400cc and under bikes as participants.

Circling back though... your OG plan to get her a Gen1 SV has my vote.  Pros -- spare bike if YOU need it, plenty fast, fun for riders from n00bz to advanced at any trackday.  Cons -- I suppose first gens are slightly harder to find in decent condition, but other than that, I see almost zero downsides.

    Carbs tho....

Watching this makes me realize how painfully slow my corner speed was this past weekend.

I'm about 2 seconds faster during a race vs. a trackday.

Literally we all start somewhere. Keep coming out and always make a plan before each session, what am I going to work on (pick 1 or 2 things) and work on them. Speed will come.

Did you only get the other parties side?
Asking because there’s always 3 sides to every story. His side, their side & the truth.
I know nothing about this story for the record. Just throwing the 3 sides out. But I know racers and how it’s always everyone else’s fault, me included lol.  I’ve known Ryan for a lot of years and have watched him go above and beyond day in a day out to make everyone happy so I find it a little hard to believe that he knowingly or intentionally fucked anyone over.

I got the team's side and looked over the bike that was delivered for the specific purpose to race MA supersport and some WERA classes and it's not legal for those intended classes for starters.

Truth is a specific build was requested to fit in specific classes and it wasnt close and took forever.

I've always heard Kerr was a good guy. Idk why this happened.

  9. Never get footage of myself but this weekend I did (I'm the one in front)! Towing one of my buddy's around Nelson's ledges on my sv. Blake's FZ makes me realize how under-powered my SV is 😪.

  10. I would suggest an r3 if you're looking at small small bikes. More aftermarket support and more parts/set up knowledge in any given paddock.

There are r3's circulating in our intermediate group and they do just fine with the right pilot it's just a different riding style. You don't brake LOL.
