The VFR has linked brakes. I am also not a fan. It's only on the rear though I think? I will stomp on the rear and the front brakes are applied. The rear does not noticeably brake when getting on the front brake.

I cant back my bike into corners with ABS, thats why I dont have it .....................

No, not yet........... I have really debated because every time I ride it, I appreciate it more and more. Right now, it doesnt help that some unexpected expenses have come up the month before we go to the Gap. (Only the rectifier was covered under the recall, but the stator went bad too and I have to pay for that part and labor for the install). Jon offered me a payment plan and I just got rid of one of my loans not too long ago...... but he did just say today he was going to start trying to sell it again.

My bet the excuse this time is time.

I will pass people until I get a break in traffic and then sit in that nice open area more often than not. If that "safe space" closes, I move on to somewhere where there are less cars. I just ride around until no cages are around me.

I purchased a Mid Ohio Track Day cert and as much as I dont want to admit it, I just dont see myself getting down there this year and it expires 2/2/17. I forget what I paid for it. Putting it up for $175?

I'll meet up with you guys if this goes down. I'm sure you guys will want to watch me suffer through +/- 4 hours of slab time.

So apparently only one of the two (stator/rectifier) is covered under the recall and both of mine are shot. There goes $500 in parts in labor. -_-
