  1. I would say lasers arent for markmanship like accuracy, however in a home defense situation I'm sure you arent looking for headshots, you are just trying to get rounds on target in a short amount of time and I believe a "sited in" laser would aid in getting you pointed in the right direction. Me personally, I'd probably go for one of those tactical lights that are bright as fuck and have strobe options. The intruder wont be able to see shit let alone fire accurately, all while your taking aim. If you are dead set on a laser they make light/laser combo's I'm sure.
  2. I had TruGlo's on my G19. They were pretty bright. Idea behind it was night time home defense. Why would you black out the rear sights?
  3. I have A*'s, RST, and Sidi. I would rank them but they are all of different in levels of protection/ price point. A* Supertech R - Best boot on the market imo. Comfy like house slippers and have the most protection out of all the boots I have. Can't go wrong with MotoGP level of protection. RST Pro Series Race - In between the Supertech and the Sidi's. No internal boot for additional support. Haven't used these yet so feedback limited. Felt ok when I wore them around the house. Bought with the intention of taking some of the load off of my Supertech R's on track. Riders Discount had/has a blowout sale on these, couldn't say no as my RST suit and gloves have survived multiple crashes. Sidi (I think they are fusions) - First real boot I bought. Did me very well over the last 5 years on the street. Soles have worn since then and I really don't wear them anymore. However I have more than gotten my money out of them. Easy on and easy off, which is nice when street riding. Besides scratches, and worn toe sliders these things had withstood the test of time.

What sizes are those suits? I know they are custom but if you could get at least an estimate....
  9. Yea, the guys that work back in my machine shop don't have a ton of room for negotiating anything.
  10. Ehh to an extent. Sometimes you gotta pick and choose your battles. I negotiated salary and once I got the number I wanted I didn't have a bunch of room to negotiate time off. I did get double what the starting was but it was still far from what I had from my last company.
  11. We just got this sweet 5 axis machine in! Really?! What didn't you like about it?

    Hey Tpoppa

I was (not this video) taking that back section in 3rd, when I really should be in 4th. Helped with less engine braking as well which got my entry speed up without really feeling like I was reaching for more entry speed. Lucky for me I have a very fast friend that rides like 52's around pirc on an sv so he's been giving me lots of help.

    Hey Tpoppa

Film will help your riding. Having others view and critique the videos help. I do this and it has helped immensely. You always think your hitting the "X" board, or coming off the brake at the right time, etc but the camera doesn't lie hahaha. Ideally you'll have it so you can see your right hand on/reach/go for/roll off of the brake lever. That way you know when you go to the brake and come off of it. Idk what I regretted more, getting a lap timer and proving how slow I am, or filming my riding, to see how slow I am. I can see just enough of my right hand to know when I go to and come off of the brake. Can see my tach to know what gear I'm in. (I know PIRC well enough now to know where my RPM's should be if I'm in the correct gear)
