  1. just realized dallas got a short camera phone vid, here it is... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AhUVX3Qhdn0
  2. lol, thanks, here's a vid of it working http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KxAZaUC2Wac
  3. 2 options. call the bank with the load, and tell them you are filing bankruptcy. sometimes they will fold and forgive the money, if they don't, actually file it.
  4. I have cameras in my house, and in the driveway. So I would end up paying them a visit afterwords.
  5. dude I walk around in dark rooms at night when I'm at work all the time, I am also a crazy person though.
  6. lol, it didn't take too long, maybe 10 minutes or so and I was turning circles on it, it's noticeably weaker than my CRF250X, and noticeably heavier as well. I couldn't even pull up a wheelie in 2nd gear on it, my old '01 yamaha WR250F would throttle up wheelies in 3rd gear with a good hard yank. I'll probably just end up putting a power commander on it, and whatever else I can to get the power up, for now I'll just shift up gear on the back wheel if needed. Where was your 400? definitely let me know when your planning on heading to haspin
  7. Who gave you that price? I will have them do mine too!
  8. yep, all stock right now, I love it, though 1 or 2 teeth down in the front would make it a lot better for the slow stuff. love it! lol, I know, I'm worried about going up on the rim, I can't feel where I at in time to save it if that happens, so I've been trying to keep the leans less drastic.
  9. hell yeah, I'm up for that, lol... here's a few more camera phone pics I guess I missed, lol....
  10. First time at the parking lot with the new WR250X, I also brought the CRF250X to play with, here's some pics, some of these are camera phone pics, but the quality's not to bad. ...Circles on the WR250X... 12oclocking the WR250X down the driveway... ..CRF250X standup circles with the new footbar... sitdown circle on the CRF250X First no hander on the CRF230F... short camera phone vid... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AhUVX3Qhdn0
  11. Here's my mods so far, custom brackets and stuff.... custom taillight bracket... custom license plate bracket...
  12. Well I wanted my WR250X to have integrated turn signals in the rear LED stock taillight, and didn't want to pay $100 for the after market R1 taillight (WR250X and the '02 '03 R1 use the same taillight) so I cut open the stock taillight with a dremel and a fine cutting disk, and designed my own controller board, cut 4 traces on the board, and placed my controller board inside, then reseal the taillight with krazy glue, here are some pics, schematic, etc, my total project cost was less than $5... Controller Board Assembled Final Product I'll post up some more pics after I mount it up, I removed the huge tail section junk, and will be making a custom mount for this under the tail.
  13. a good properly setup stabilizer would have prevented that crash. look pretty cool in first person.
  14. I found a new virus a few months ago and reported it to Avira, which was the antivirus I used at the time. I switched back to mcafee enterprise 8.7i, because although Avira had a better detection rate, they could not hook your system like mcafee, and actually prevent infection.
  15. That's Nothing, I had my front caliper fall off my 01 WR250F in mid wheelie while floating down the road on the back wheel, imagine that tangling in your spokes! Later that week the kick starter fell off. Upon further inspection, I found Yamaha does not use loctite on brake bolts and other important parts, which HONDA DOES use loctite for direct from the factory!
  16. only got to take a spin once in the freezing cold dark, lol, but as soon as it gets warmer I'll let you know, I sure its gonna be just as fun as my other motard, except now I can at least hit the highway if I want to, lol
  17. from the pics I've seen, looks like a honda clone, as long as you can get parts, and if its dirt cheap, and you do your own work, you probably be ok. I bought a cheap china 4 wheeler for my daughter, new out of the crate, im pretty sure the valve guides were leaky direct from the factory, but for the price, can't beat it, I paid $400. it was a Lifan engine, which for the most part copied their design and parts from honda. you should be able to find parts pretty cheap if you look hard enough.
  18. my buddy wrecked his car, and had state farm, his situation went smooth as silk, I went with him to see the state farm agent after it happened. the guy he hit also had state farm, nithor one of them wanted to file a police report, because they both didnt want it on their license, the state farm agent was totally cool with that, and they paid the damage without a blink.
  19. yeah, I switched from progressive too, progressive wanted $150 a year for liability on my cbr929, state farm gave me higher coverage liability for $50 a year! no long after that I switched my cars, and other stuff to state farm and saved a boat load of money, lol
  20. I called up state farm today to insure my new 2008 WR250X (Liability), I got a rate of $17.16 a YEAR!!!! YEAH, NO KIDDING!! The chick on the phone could not believe it either, and had to double check! But that's what the computer kept giving her, and that's what I got. SWEEET!!!
  21. sounds good, thanks again probably gonna start on one today, getting rid of those huge milk jug signals, and the tail fin license plate mount, lol.
