  2. will do bro. im gonna be burning more of the motogp races to dvd so maybe a COUPLE of us could come out, watch the races, and drink some shasta
  3. Avon is closing their doors in springdale which will be putting my old lady out of a job. The only good thing will be that the shutdown will take about 2 years to complete. Needless to say, my dreams of a track bike and track days will likely go down the shitter for a while
  4. i wish it was tonight man. i finally had a babysitter and rode for a few hours. if it does get rained out tomorrow, i will try to make it next week
  5. as most women would chicks on bikes are sexy!!!
  6. Honda polish with a micro fiber cloth. Takes all the bugs and grime off. Then I take a clean micro fiber cloth and buff it. I have been contemplating getting some wax to get rid of some of the fine scratches. Oh and the only water that's gotten on my bike is when I've ridden in the rain which I try to make a rare occurrence
  7. you better start practicing your body position now, or ill be passing you as you lowside. now wouldnt that be embarrassing getting passed by a 600?
  8. the point is bro, that you can go the same speed using less tire. we all take risk yes, but pushing the tire to the limit leaves no room for error, and is unwise. hanging off the bike allows you to go faster, while taking less risk (at least as it applies to the street). ive never seen any pros ride stuck on the seat. that should tell you something
  9. DID YOU HEAR THAT LUKE? hmmmmmm...
  10. +1. lack of chicken strips in no way proves a rider has skill, and depending on the tire being used can make a huge difference on how hard it is to scrub in completely. i know my corsa 3's are a bitch to scrub since they are more convex than some other tires. hanging off the bike leaves more room on the tire as well, so dont judge a rider by his strips!
  11. hell yeah man, i love my corsa 3's! the only thing that sucks is that im going to get about 6000 miles out of the rear tire, but the grip is excellent
  12. I hate to disagree with ya bro, but kerosene is what my owners manual says to use to clean the chain. I do agree with you tho regarding the wd-40
  13. you could also use kerosene. that stuff melts grease away
  14. if you head over to scarlet oaks, they have a huge parking lot where they hold the msf class.
  15. are you parting the bike out? btw i have both gilles and pazzos and both are wonderful. good stuff for whoever grabs these
  16. damn this guy looks terrible. looks like hes gonna tip over at any second
  17. Thanks guys! I feel like the old man of the group, well, at least when catmans not around! 31 and counting...

  21. to make a long story short, i decided to take my race railz off my bike to do some work. the right side engine mounting bolt was a pita to get out and ultimately i stripped the threads near the motor head. so i retapped the hole and screwed in the oem bolt which surprisingly, although a bit loose draws in without problem. i have noticed tho that the oem bolt doesnt tighten flush with the frame (maybe 1-2mm out). since i havent had the oem bolt threaded in quite some time, im not sure if this is okay (somehow i doubt it). can someone tell me if the bolt head is supposed to be flush with the frame or not?
