  1. All good ideas -

    1. What kind of bike do you have? yr / model

    2. What kind of style are you going for on the 2-1? maybe we can find a used or budget priced new one for ya

As far as hurting the engine, kinda depends on how you modify it.

Short answer is if you do a 2-1 and restore original back pressure no harm done, if you reduce backpressure, depending on how much you reduce it, you'll run the risk of leaning out the fuel / air mix which could cause your bike to run hot and do internal damage over time, if off by a crazy amount it may damage it sooner. If you increase the back pressure then you lose power and richen up the fuel/air mix and run the risk of scoring the cylinder walls by having too much carbon build up.

  2. I have a clear titled XR200 Street legal frame in my name.

I just bought an asian knock-off

Do I #1. Sell the XR200 Frame with the bike and focus on one of my 1000 other projects going on

or #2 Transfer everything from the Knock off to the XR200 and keep the Knock off frame to make a motard later on

or #3 use the Knock off frame to house the turbo jet engine and build a bike around that lol.

    Decisions decisions...

  3. I get that stuff from time to time as well... its life. And to the guy who said busas are black men's bikes, statistically I see more ethnic african americans riding and calling for parts for Kawasakis, but after that its the Busas.

On a somewhat unrelated note I read an interesting thought on a TL1000 site -

British guy basically saying he's tired of submitting to random drug tests at work while the recipients of his taxes (i.e. welfare warriors) don't even have to submit to drug tests to receive the benefits ie gov't handouts.

  4. Congrats, you guys treated me right on the parts I bought. Good peeps up there

"it starts with pride, cuz you never really know how hard you try...I've come so far...and it doesn't really matter' Linkin Park

    Lol,

We do our very best every day. We can't match every flea market and ebay auction, we do offer quality tested used parts with prices competitive with other salvage dealers many of which don't go through the rigors of quality testing that we do.

  5. be glad it wasn't your bike sliding accross 3 lanes.

    :werd:

Oh yea, and hydroplaning across the interstate blows. Did it in a friends formula, he did a 720* and ended up partly in the median on the fastlane of I-70, with a semi headed straight at us, luckily was able to get the car started and backed off the road. Saw my life flash by right there.

Glad you're alright to tell the tale. Last summer I hydroplaned 2 times on a simple 2 lane state route - stayed on the roads both times but truck went totally sideways one way and flipped around to go sideways the other way. Life is good, but sometimes the rain sux

  6. Don't get me wrong..Hey the fact you believe at all makes you tops in my book. I just don't believe God intervenes in such a random fashion to prevent a traffic accident, or a win for a football game while millions suffer from poverty, disease, hunger etc.

Once you start crediting him for intervening when something goes your way then you also open the door of having to blame him when it doesn't...just a thought.

Good questions bro, I definitely don't have all the answers, but I do believe he works on behalf of those who have faith in him and call up on him in thier time of trouble - sometimes the answer is yes, no, and not now. If things had gotten worse I'd still believe that good came from it in the survival of the accident by me and others, if my truck got destroyed I'd be thankful for my life being spared, if I had passed then I'd be thankful to be in a much better place - I'm always working on expressing my attitude of gratitude.

You're being fair in thinking there's complex logic in applying fairness to good and evil in the world. We could debate these other issues later, thanks for speaking your mind.
