  1. There's a web editor/snooper addon for firefox that might reveal code for it. I'll have to reload it after my hard drive crash, and see if it does. Other than Casper adding a line of code to reveal it, of course...
  2. ha, A few people have seen it. I ride it on weekends. And was riding it all this last week or two since the clutch cable went out on the other one. Problem is, everywhere I go lately, no people from Ohio Riders show up.
  3. oh, cool... I should do that. I was looking at that type, and this tiny one from StreetGlow. I can ride over whenever. I need to test that new clutch cable anyway. (And get a charge going on the battery.) I'll watch for a PM, I'm running to the grocery. bbl Something new from StreetGlow. It can mount up or down. (red running light, red brake light and license plate light): http://www.streetglow.com/MCTLLP
  4. Neighbor wanted me to work on his car. So I did that, he's a good guy, a real deal combat veteran. Dead battery from fan stuck on when ignition off. Suspect fan relay, but only unplugged radiator fan, charged battery, and started Jeep so far. I don't know where the darn relay is. I see relays, but don't know which one it is... edit: hahaha, it's under the front bumper on the passenger side. Bumper has to be removed to get to it, or cut a hole. Location varies a bit on certain years. Known to fail frequently from excess heat. Replaced clutch cable on 02 black 919. It nearly broke. Couldn't ride it that way. Tried to put tail eliminator on, but realized I have no license plate light. durrrr... Now searching for plate lights, or mount the goofy stock light on the trick bracket. Fixed right rear turn signal. It was thinking about flopping around. Maybe replacing cut up muffler cans on the 07 red 919 with cheap ebay stock cans today. Dunno. Kinda like it loud sometimes. But I think the gutted cans are killing low end power a bit. I need the stock rear fender from off the black one, for the red one (it was chopped off), so I can bolt up quick release sw-motech mounts for pelican boxes. Huge pile of parts waiting...
  5. The latest "Human Resources" waste of time is to call everyone either a specialist or a technician. The specialist is the new name for secretary or clerical worker. I don't know where it started, but it is spreading fast.
  6. There is a Haynes manual ISBN 1844252590 for 87-05 and a Clymer manual ISBN 9781844257775 for 87-08. The Columbus library has one copy. I've never seen either one for download. I do have Clymer 87-93 and a EX500 pdf parts fiche for unknown year, and a misc EX500 pdf owner's manual. The best parts fiche are on line, lots of sources for that. But yes, sometimes there are errors...
  7. That passenger in the flaming Middletown crash has died. Charges against the rider in control are pending. Think about this one when we ride with a passenger... Charges pending in fatal motorcycle crash
  8. Alrighty then... good thing he didn't drag himself over there. I agree, you'd be better off with a roll of duct tape, than looking for much at most urgent care centers. But they are sorta quicker, if you already know what you need. Plus I think my insurance doesn't argue about seeking care at an urgent care, like they tend to do when going to a real emergency room.
  9. North Side man charged in fatal stabbing That didn't take long....
  10. Man dies after being stabbed "head to toe" This is just messed up. I mean it's like only 100 yards away from an Urgent Care facility, which was... well... probably closed at night. This was the corner of Tamarack Blvd and St Rt 161. Just goes to show how far down hill that area has gone.
  11. somebody show Gen the banner...
  12. I weighed 125 when I got out of the Army. I gained it back to 144 in about two weeks... Don't ask me why I currently weigh 160-165.
  13. You mean one of those gigs where half go home when the Sun goes down? Because they still have temps and can't be out after dark?
  14. Yes, some of us can remember when certain 2-strokes absolutely ruled the streets...
  15. wait.... MJ is a guy?
  16. Y'all do know to avoid credit cards and use cash only... lol, just sayin'... Wait... years ago I took a something big and buzzing in the side of the (open-faced) helmet and it went thwik!, around to the back of my head. And buzzed, in a confused way. At the base of my skull. On the freeway. Helmet was off with one hand way before I got stopped with the other hand. All I could think about was a bee/hornet sting in that location could kill.
  17. What people don't see, is that whichever party wins a district, anywhere in the country, that district is then analyzed, borders shuffled, plans made, nefarious plots plotted... to maneuver the voting patterns of each district in an attempt to continue winning those Electoral College votes. This is just wrong, a waste of money and time, and is a simple yanking around of the citizens. In other words... we aren't really voting...
  18. But wait.... that's where all the "Electoral College" votes are from. Not a big difference... edit: the actual difference, is that competition won't be for a majority of large urban districts anymore. It would shift to having to be a majority of it all. Including the lesser states, the rural areas, and a fairly large percent of the US population that really isn't represented at this time.
  19. Be aware that if 4 of the 56 elections were out of whack, that changing to a direct vote would have the same odds of a "chance of out of whack". Elections would continue to be 93% correct regardless of whatever challenge would be generated over results.
  20. Popular misconception. There are more retired peoples in Ohio than Florida. Except for that SnowBird month, when somehow they all show up down South at the same time...
  21. Actually, the USA is a Democratic Republic. A true Republic could be something like France, Turkey, or Vietnam. Although it is true that a Republic also votes by either a direct vote, or by a council that chooses for voters. And no matter how hard we try, there will always be somebody that punches the wrong button/switch/card. We'll just have to live with that, and not make so much of it. It has become a part of the voting process.
