You have to wait. This website uses the Library of Congress as a source. The text of the bills isn't available yet. It should be on the govtrack.us website when it becomes available. Maybe slightly sooner at the Library of Congress. If you click on "view on THOMAS" right below where it says TEXT, it will show whether the Library of Congress has received the information from the GPO (Government Printing Office) yet. If it has, it will be available there also.

The choke hold thing was the earlier robbery. The second robbery resulted in two robbers going to separate hospitals, each for multiple gunshot wounds.

What you said here: "...Here's pics from yesterday. You can't tell much. The knee looks like hell, it's as if the thigh muscle died and fell on top of the knee. They said it's weird but should get better. It's not reddish like that this morning..." I thought you were meaning the two were associated. Guess not.

Rifles? Lower receivers? 80% lower receivers? I cruised news on the main 4 manufacturers of lower receivers today. They can't even get raw material to make more. Not yet. It's gone. The supply of raw material is even back ordered for them. That's how bad the demand is, and how far the back orders go. Rifles were selling at a rate over 120 times normal. Basically something like a 6 month supply gone in 36 hours. edit: The only good news I can see is that manufacturers are taking orders and taking your money now. Small shops appear to be getting nervous about getting stuck with stock they might not be allowed to sell. They can't see one year down the road, and stopped taking orders. Yeah, some are saying it will be a year.

The social security tax is going up too. Everyone forgot about that part. It comes directly out of each pay check, and goes directly to the feds. That's going to be a very large increase. Larger than the federal tax increase. I only read the amounts in one news article. I hope they are wrong about that. edit: I read a little over $500 more for 40k-50k income, and a little over $800 for over 50k. Annual. On up to huge amount for millionaires. edit: here's the nbc list. It's still confusing, but I think it's mostly the social security tax increase. The article says there's also a 2% payroll decrease from a temporary law that was in effect for two years to stimulate the economy. It's gone. http://www.nbcnews.com/business/economywatch/taxes-are-rising-it-could-have-been-more-painful-1C7800803

Dunno about San Diego, but she was mayor of San Francisco from 1979 to 1987. Two terms. She pushed through a handgun ban. About 20-30 handguns were turned in.

Very nice and to the point.

The leasing of Long Beach failed. Although it is used extensively. But there's a newer seaport in Mexico; Chinese shipping conglomerate Hutchison Whampoa Ltd. has a significant presence at the Lazaro Cardenas seaport in Mexico. This will link to the Trans Texas Corridor (TTC) by road and rail to the new import terminal in Kansas City. More stuff made in China. Hutchison Whampoa already controls the Atlantic and Pacific seaports of the Panama Canal. Hutchison Whampoa also has the Ensenada International Terminal (EIT), “strategically situated 110 kilometers south of the U.S.-Mexico border along the Pacific Ocean”. Hutchison Whampoa also has the Terminal Internacional de Manzanillo (TIMSA) in Mexico. a port in Buenos Aires the Freeport Container Port in the Bahamas Hutchison Whampoa’s subsidiary, HIT (Hutchison International Terminals), has “business ventures with the China Ocean Shipping Company (COSCO) which is owned by the People’s Liberation Army.” More?

Hmm, well they were ordered to do so in something like 30-60 days. Will need some research to see how well that worked. edit: Found this: N.O. Police Returning Guns Confiscated Post-Katrina Published April 19, 2006 Associated Press Firearms confiscated by National Guard required contact with the state of Louisiana. Apparently that's a dead end.

Montana wishes to amend the US constitution and amendments. Lawmaker: Tweak Constitution to affirm gun rights Basically wants to start with changing the Commerce Clause, so that the states have rights within their sovereign borders. Montana's statehood was of a type that requires state approval of federal changes that effect Montana. The short story is that a majority of US states have called for the right to make whatever weapons they want without federal interference. edit: My take on this. If 34 states (now 34) are passing this legislation, then indeed the federal government has exercised power too far. State governments would not pass legislation of this type without good reason. The majority speaks. 68%.edit: This is really kinda old news, it didn't go anywhere in many states, including Ohio. But the federal government did notice and wasn't happy.

Probably cannot afford that. AR15 types alone would cost well over 125 trillion dollars. Add in 90 to 120 "other types" and it's over 10 quadrillion bucks.

Did you find them somewhere locally? Inquiring minds wish to know...

Correct. Public would do all the work. Computers would crunch the data. Then the hundred years to sort through it all.

Just thought it was humorous... 'Oompa Loompas' sought by police over Norwich assault Did they sing, "do-ba-dee-dee" as they ran off? What's next? Dawn of the Dead feat Smurfs? edit: disclaimer; being attacked by this might be acceptable:

lol, I said 0.8 inches of snow overnight. So much for government national weather forecasting. We got closer to 5 inches of snow on the East side of Columbus.

caution: generic motorcycle plate frames "DO NOT FIT the license plates in the following states: Maryland, Ohio, or Wisconsin". Dunno... need to try one first. The BMV has frames that fit.

Now that I've seen the pictures... Pityriasis rosea. Medically: cause unknown, although sometimes follows a respiratory infection. Usually goes away on it's own in 4-8 weeks. If you read the links, the time line of events sounds like what you were describing. The raised edge around the spot was the clue. 6% of cases are on extremities. It's usually on torso, and develops from a single spot, into a "Christmas tree pattern". That threw me until I found that 6% of cases were on extremities instead. Sunlight helps heal faster. Try to get some sunlight on the areas. Even an ultra violet lamp will work. Don't get a sunburn from the lamp. Avoid scratching and harsh soaps. The anti-histamine is for the itching. The change in the muscle is weird, and that was near the initial start area? WebMD Mayo ClinicMedicine Plus gov disclaimer: I am not a Doctor. I didn't even stay at Holiday Inn Express.

Reality... just crunched some numbers. To register just the existing AR15s alone, if the BATF stopped all current work, just to process the paperwork, would take 111 years. Doesn't count the sudden increase in the recent weeks or anything else on the list, which is so extensive that reality is probably in excess of 11000 years to get the job done. Gosh, we'll have to raise taxes 100 times to get this done... edit, ok, registering the AR15s alone could be done in one year if personnel were increased 100 fold. Which would mean hiring 400,000 new people. That's more than twice the size of the US Marine Corps. It would still take over 100 years to register everything else on the list.

Yeah, I pulled down a "wrong street" in Miami near the airport. If there hadn't been an open alley to the left between buildings, I'd have smoked tires backwards onto a main road. In riots anything and everything can go horribly wrong quickly. I've seen my share. Including responding as a blocking force in full gear.

And that was found by the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana to be illegal. Probably won't happen again. edit: quote: • cease and desist confiscating lawfully-possessed firearms from all citizens;

US News and World Report. They've always done little polls like that. So does the New York Times. I wish they would show the total number of people responding to the polls. edit: I went back and added links to the polls. Here's the Gallup poll, which would have had a required number of solicited inputs. Immediately after Newtown, when opinions were biased. http://i.usatoday.net/_common/_notches/ade5ddcf-fc7b-4184-a04f-313933c6845e-Gun-control-laws1.png Baltimore Sun: Assault weapons ban Should Congress ban assault weapons and large ammunition magazines? Yes (2549 responses) 30% No (5862 responses) 69% Not sure (67 responses) 1% 8478 total responses (Results not scientific) I found a CNN poll, but it's worded misleadingly when given, and interpreted with bias. And was given at a biased time frame. Just the facts will do. There are various internet sources claiming the exact opposite without backing up the claims with data.
-
They might get the message, but some won't listen: dec31 @ 1pm Should the assault weapon ban be reinstated? A. 1.6% Yes B. 98.4% No edit: here's some other US News polls: Should Teachers Be Armed? 81.84% Yes 18.16% No Are Video Games Too Violent? 50.0% Yes 50.0% No Should Obama Pursue Gun Control Without Congress? 21.51% Yes 78.49% No

The M4 fires a 3 shot burst when set on full auto. The M4A1 will empty the magazine when set on full auto. That field manual says the M16A1 and M16A3 are the full auto, and the the M16A2 and M16A4 are burst mode. M16A2 and M16A3 are a common platform, M16A4 is different. M16A2/A3 is 1.3 lbs lighter than the M16A4. M16A1 has the 12:1 twist, all others are 7:1. None are semi-auto only.
