It's all quite simple: We can make almost anything idiot proof. But some one will always make a better idiot.

any know of a good way to clean a gas tank
ReconRat replied to marlboro man's topic in Tech and Tips
Bicycle chain is a great idea. And I also use the phosphoric acid. Electrolysis is also excellent if set up properly. edit: Swimming pool muriatic acid should work pretty well also. edit: http://www.instructables.com/id/Electrolysis-rust-removal-motorbike-fuel-tank/ Edit: Found this, not tried it before. You never know what will happen. I had a neighbor girl and her sister get into it with a guy one night. North campus. Eventually some one called the cops, and they arrested everyone on outstanding warrants. Not counting what was happening then. Which was the younger sister hooking and the dude wouldn't pay. So she stabbed him. Not stabbed very well, he went berserk. Yeah, it was loud. When in doubt, call that police dispatcher and ask them. Tell them what you see/hear. Let them decide. It's what they do for a living. They've got a lot of practice.

Lady rider's chart of seat heights, but it works: http://www.vtwinmama.com/motorcycle_seat_heights.htm Total Motorcycles dot com seat height list: http://www.totalmotorcycle.com/school-SectionTwoB.htm Motorcycle Views dot com seat height lists: http://motorcycleviews.com/general/motorcycleseatheights.htm Really cool motorcycle ergonomics interactive tool: http://cycle-ergo.com/ If it's close to flat foot on a list or chart, check it out anyway. Sit on some of them to see what works. The suspension sags enough on most bikes to help get the feet flat on the ground. edit: actually sitting on one is important. Seat widths and heights, foot peg positions, everything adds up to whether it "fits". Arm and handlebar positions, etc. That cycle ergo shows me not flat footed on a CB350, but I could flat foot a CL350 which was a bit taller (I think). I sat on a really tall BMW X Country, and the suspension sags so much I was pretty much flat footed on the ground, with a bit of bounce.

Looks like the AWACS climbed after hookup, and triggered an auto disconnect. Not sure why the AWACS then yo-yo'd, but probably airflow across the elevators (or that large airfoil rotating dome on top).

There should be a manufacturer's part number on it. Post that and we can search for it. You'll know exactly what it fits on.l

I wanna see. Darn phones don't always send pics...

We saw that at work in the news. No clue really, but something light weight and reflective that blew up off the ground, most likely. "Hey, who took the plastic roof off my home made greenhouse?!!!?! Oh wait, there it is..."
-
That will work. Wonder why it didn't come up in a search...

ummm, tip the nose down after pushing the slide on, to get the barrel in place for the take down pin that goes through the lock bar. Shake it around if needed. YouTube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cpBeeQ4ssOU The basic field strip reassembly starts at around 5:15

This might be a repeat of the New York City storm that had 6 foot deep water covering a good part of the city. Ummm, exactly how do you drain a subway? Slowly...

What MJ said. The pepper seeds I bought did not meet the claimed hotness. Next year sticking to tried and true known varieties.
-
I did that. I made some home made pepper spray for raccoons. An entire pint of habanero/red onion/pepper concentrate. My only mistake was bending over and taking a whiff of it to see if it really smelled hot/nauseous. Oops. About the same effect as tear gas.

Hacking... it's OhKyleL's picture from a flickr account. So it's a booboo link or somebody is using it and his name and photo to promote the sale of that domain name. Best guess.
-
haha no. Do the math. Apply logic. Bake at 350 and enjoy.
-
edit: Would you check the link. It appears to be trying to sell a domain name. Is that what this is about? "buy TriumphTrident.com for $2,595" edit: brn6604 found the correct link = http://1975triumphtrident.com/ All is well once again in OR Land.

Yeah, they invited businesses and entrepreneurs to take advantage of Facebook's tremendous ability to reach out to the public, and then slap them with mandatory limits that they have to pay to remove. That's called blackmail / extortion. Or a good business model in some circles. Over on Google+, there are a lot of photographers using Facebook and were relying on Facebook distribution to their clientele. They were all taken by surprise without warning. It didn't take long to figure out that content was missing. It's quite a topic of discussion over there on Google+.

Just now looking at this... let's do the math over again. Low end of toxicity = 150mg per kilogram body weight per day. average male = 160 pounds = 72 kilogram average adult toxicity = 10,800 mg per day = 45 cans of Monster Energy Drink Guessing she was half that weight at most = 22.5 cans of Monster Energy Drink in one day The coroner is clueless she did not die of caffeine toxicity she may or may not have died of an abnormal reaction to caffeine Also, the caffeine in Monster Energy drink is only 80mg per can. About the same as a cup of coffee. A STRONG cup of coffee could be up in the range of 200+ mg. The numbers above would work for strong coffee. For regular coffee or Monster Energy, the number would be 135 cans per adult per day or maybe 67.5 cans per juvenile per day. Caffeine content for coffee, tea, soda and more - Mayo Clinic A long time ago, I remember some kid in the news, dying from the first taste of a caffeine drink. Like one sip, or so they said. But I'd think that since caffeine is in many over the counter medications, that story and this story are both pushing the limits of imagination. edit: and I'll guess the toxicity is only if you don't pee. Caffeine filters out of the body quickly.

Yeah, what's up with that. People (gals) changing to red now. Started earlier this year. I made a joke that all redheads were going to be invited to a party, and everyone starts changing to red. I somehow feel responsible. It's my fault, I'll take the blame.

ermm, there's two 45 colt, one short and one long. That's why one is called .45 LC (45 long colt). The short is the .45 Schofield round, which can be fired in the long colt weapon, but not vice versa. Not that we'd be firing a short 45 colt anytime soon. All the newer schofields are 45 long colt. But yes, it's official name was 45 Colt.

Went outside and measured the angle above the horizon. About 10 degrees. Yeah, it was behind the trees making it hard to see. That works out to be between 440ft and 880ft, figuring it was between a half mile and a mile away. My guess at the time was 600ft. The sounds I heard was the engines dropping back to idle repeatedly, after every attempt to get and maintain max thrust.
