Look in NC, KY, TN, etc. I've found tons for about 7, and you will easily spend 2K to make it anything close to livable. Actually, has ANYONE been to the Blue Stone for a concert since the remake? I tried to go to Screaming Willys for a country performance last year and it was by far the worst experience of my life as far as bars/concerts go... I prefer to go to places I can actually listen/see the musician, I am afraid this place might be similar? There are several bands I'd love to go see, but I don't want to be as disappointed as I was at Screaming Willys.

My uncle who has lived in CO since graduating college has never driven anything but Scooby's and never will. Similar to your situation, guy has 2 kids, ex wife, now just kicks it, ski's and lives the american dream. Anytime we go to CO anymore we get an SUV but before that we got Subaru's and they have always been fine. My family in VT does the same thing, thats all they own. Basically it comes down to the driver, BUT the AWD's are made for these conditions.
