    California

Isn't gay marriage legal there now? Bowdog, I see why you're going now.
  3. Dang that camera must be BALLA, awesome pics. So uh, anyone else notice the AMA must not require brake lever guards, or am I missing them in a few pics? The Fillmore pic doesn't appear to have one, and I think a few others don't too. I can't imagine not having one at that level, but that's just me.
  4. Bro, its always a race LOL NOT. You mean they didn't give tropheys for first through third after the track day was over? I love those DB's, been run off a few times myself, never a good time.
  5. Have fun, bring more water in the cooler than you think you need cuz it's gonna BE HOT. Think at least 1 bottle every 30 mins of time at the track. I recommend 12-18 waters per person.
  6. As stated cancer sucks. Sorry for your loss.
  7. Congrads dude, I know the feeling. Raced the first weekend this year and decided I needed to make a few decisions with an unforeseen massive layoff through my department at work and baby on the way. I got lucky, have the bike and everything to race, but the actual costs just don't add up right now. I'd like to get one more weekend in sometime before the season is over and think once I know my job is safe and everything is good with our baby I will. Trust me when I say the time from now until then will FLY by. We're 4 weeks out from due date and I can't believe it's almost here. Enjoy the heck out of the time you two have together now.

    Old dog

Sorry to hear man, but know that her suffering is over and she's in a much better place now. I know it's hard, lost 2 in my short life and I cannot start to imagine losing "my" dog that I have now. The whole thing is never easy but cherish the good memories and know that she will live on forever in those.
  9. Wow, go home you are drunk.
  10. So its something new you mean? For us it's normal, figured maybe your rzide had something similar. I'd just burn it to the ground, of course let her out of it.
  11. Powerstrokes have this, we basically take that tube, run a longer tube on it down the engine/frame to the back of the truck, add either a breather filter, or a catch can, or nothing. Basically it's takking the blow by oil and putting it in your air intake. A lot of cars have it, just depends if it goes back into the intake/engine/turbo in our case, or just drops it out, or doesn't have one. If you want more details text me, usually costs a few bux for the tubing and then the little filter from Autozone but easy, just use zip ties. Key is to make sure it's a constant drop in the line, or oil will get stuck in there and can cause a vacum(so we are told). Also the oil does smell sometimes, and not good, so you want to run the hose to the back. Check out Powerstroke.org and search CCV Mod. That's what we actually named the mod. I have never done them and never have a ton of oil in the air filter area so I don't worry so much, BUT I will be checking the new truck much closer once I get my CAI in a few thousand miles. I had a brand new air filter when I bought the truck so I figure might as well use what I have for now. Plus 289 for the CAI isn't cheap.
  12. Yeah looks like improvement almsot every lap. Hopefully they get it setup and qualifying is good.
  13. Brandon/Gixxie is out now, cross your fingers!@
  14. Would have loved to but once I got home I got balls deep in car cleaning and oil changes. Hope it was a good turn out, I would have loved to make it.
  15. That is weird, I don't have any military experience so I would be clueless other than probably noticing he looked out of place, so I wouldn't have addressed it. But anyone having military experience with knowledge I feel should have as well. It's not cool to pose, kinda like wanna be cops, aka glorified security guards. I cannot stand that, my wifes step sisters BF is a wanna be cop, huge dude that can't drop the lbs to pass the physical, so he works security. He isn't even licensed to carry and doesn't have a CHL either so he just rocks out his "patrol" car. Actually posers for anything are DB's.
  16. I make it a point to talk to people I don't know when pissing. I think it's funny. The best is when I take the far pisser, someone I know takes the other far pisser, then some random takes the middle and we talk to each other like he isn't there. Weird? Sure, but hilarious. I often consider peeing with my pants down around my ankles like a little child does. Just to see the reactions.
  17. Bow- yeah, I could still make it work as is, BUT not real sure I'd wanna try that lol, I have extension cords until then. Grape- just running my normal Champion 3500W, nothing fancy or whole house. That will be next house, when we go for a full house, propane or natural gas, not worth spending that coin on this one. BUT I will remember that for future for sure.
  18. Im getting a genny hookup to the house before winter, just gotta buy the setup from HD then have my inlaw's family wire it in. Going to hit the main fridge, sump pump, heater(gas heat with electric blower), and a few general plugs for lamps etc. Gas water heater so no biggy there either. Still think the battery backup plus normal(like link posted) would be best just in case.
  19. That is what I was thinking too, I was like WTF, it's a battery, grab a deep cycle at Menards for 70 bux for the monster size and be done. Had to get one for the TH this year and can't be happier with the one I got.
  20. Yeah I planned to pick one of those up, may go with the battery backup first, then go to the new normal pump. Like I said, I think it runs maybe a few minutes a day at most. Guess that is one thing they did right when they build the house....
  21. I've always been curious about this topic, my sump is 15 years old, was thinking of upgrading to a really nice one but wasn't sure if it was worth it or not. Even with the rain it wasn't running, and I rarely, hear/see it run, but was still thinking it would be a good investment. What is the life of one that doesn't run a ton? I'd rather not find out the hardway.

    Case Savers?

Oh no, sorry, I doubt I made myself totally clear, was pissed off at the wreck which made my commute avg speed 30mph for 1.5 hrs. Anyways, I haven't tried those, but I absolutely would try them before using nothing. I mean they are T6 alum, I know a lot of stuff these days use that grade, so I would think they would be a good alternative. If anything, you can be the test subject(dummy hehe) and let everyone else know how they work. Or hopefully you drop the coin, then never have to use them.

    Case Savers?

My point is it's 30 bux, if you can make something and not spend more time than that 30 bux is worth have at it. I cannot, but I don't have resources to make it either. Granted I still wouldn't, but I get what you are saying. Either way, I'd personally pony up, buy the ones that are done, put um on, and you'll be set. My Woodcrafts are dope.
