  1. I read the other day in the retarded media that pistol grips allow a gun to be fired from the hip. The more you know.
  2. When there's a spree shooting in a gun show, I'll know that the prevalence of guns create violence, and that having one or several is no deterrent. We've had them in malls, churches, day cares, movie theaters, why not a gun show? A good number of the spree shooters lately have been liberal, it would only make sense to go to where the mean old NRA white guys are and start killing. In any case, stupid shit happens every day because people are careless. Lost my dad and my best friend from high school due to careless drivers - don't see me campaigning for tighter car restrictions. That's because slightly scary freedom is better than a padded liberal utopia where you get your ass wiped for you by daddy government.
  3. If you're unarmed, you still have a 5,000lb battering ram at your disposal. Stop (when there's ample room to maneuver on all sides). If aggressor pulls in front of you, back up slightly. If he pulls behind you, move up slightly. Put car in opposite gear and be ready. When the aggressor exits his vehicle to do his alpha male routine, let him close the distance between his car and yours (about halfway), then run him down. Badasses often forget tactical advantage when their chests are puffed out. Go to car-wash and spray badass off your bumper. This post for comedic/entertainment purposes only.

    Wow BMW!

Looks like something a 12 year old would design. Does it turn into a flying robot?
  5. How many Fuck Obama's did you hear?

    Who's going?

I'll be there, Magz wants to carpool with me. We're going to Chuck E. Cheese afterwards, his deal....he likes the band.
  7. There's some awfully mainstream movies being listed for a thread about movies I should not know about. Hey, anyone seen Star Wars? It's awesome it's about some whiny prick that runs away from home and shacks up with some old creeper.
  8. Obviously he's one of those hateful racist NRA gun-clingers.
  9. Yup, I plan on a meth operation well into my 90's.

    Obama's plan

Yeah, that jumped out at me too. Either the NRA was right and Obama and everyone on the left was being a cock for calling them hysterical for suggesting armed guards, or the "resource officers" are going to be unarmed, which is about as effective as a rape whistle against a spree-killer. Gotta be one or the other...either stupid or lying.

    Obama's plan

The one upbeat thing I got from it was that he's punting the heavy lifting to Congress, I believe knowing a ban is unlikely.

    Obama's plan

Great thing to do there - politicize mental health practitioners, and compel them to determine who could maybe be a threat. Oh, and do you ever get off the list? It's a great message to send to society - once a sicko always a sicko. Who wouldn't want to clam the fuck up when speaking to ANYONE in that field knowing your civil rights were about to get stripped? Further, what protects doctors and therapists from lawsuit such as the one brought today against Holmes psychiatrist? It's going to make people report "threats" that aren't there to be on the safe side. Need a gun? Well, that makes you paranoid and you're mentally deficient. This is the building blocks of some scary fucking shit. It's not scary yet, it's the underpinnings of it, the mechanism by which a society starts to criminalize everything and everyone. If you're not terrified of the ramifications, you're a fucking dumbass with no history books.

    Obama's plan

Straw purchases are already illegal and most cases carry a stiff penalty, it's the enforcement that's lacking. And, universal checks are unenforceable nonsense anyway - and places the legal onus on the law-abiding who's selling a legal product to a private party. All feel-good nonsense that just annoys and convolutes the law abiding while doing nothing to stop criminals from doing what they've always done. It's the War On Drugs for guns now....and how well is that bullshit working? Can you get drugs right now if you want? Bet you know how you could. Same with guns...this won't stop anyone from getting guns nor will it stop crime or violence. What a fucking disgraceful display of pandering bullshit while our country burns.

    Obama's plan

I can't listen, I hate that jug-eared motherfucker too much. Makes me sick to my stomach. Everything he says is wrong, and backwards, and full of aids and fail.
  15. Yup, oils and heat are the culprit with smoke. Sesame, Sunflower, some varieties of Canola (labeled as super high heat) oil all have a high smoke point. Avacado oil is the highest I know of. Soy and Safflower are medium heat oils, good for sauteing and baking. Corn, Olive, Coconut all are lower to mid-heat oils, good for light sauteing and sauces where you want the flavor of the oil to be integral to the dish. The low smoke point oils like Wheat Germ and Flax Oil are nutritious and taste good, but they'll smoke fast....usually better for sauces or taken directly.

    Who's going?

I'm safe, I only drink Shirley Temples.
  17. A lot of the claims have been put to rest, and people are still talking about them as if they're mysteries (AR in the trunk that was clearly a Saiga shottie), Bushmaster not used in the building (first responders reported numerous AR mags, spent rifle casings, coroner's report of all rifle wounds). The rest would take a concerted effort on behalf of a "Let's calm the conspiracy theories commission" that doesn't exist. Where should these reports come from? It'll all get released, just like Columbine which was also wildly speculative and full of questions that have been answered to most people's satisfaction. I like everyone else have a lot of questions, and things appear to be strange, but I will never ascribe to conspiracy (especially by this inept bunch of jackasses running the government) what can easier be described by incompetence. So far, the Media is mangler of facts and the ones doing the twisting.
  18. I've been saying all along that's the most nefarious part of the law. Not only does it (even if unintentionally) set up a climate where people are reported for potential danger falsely, but it almost guarantees that people who need help will not self-report or submit to psych evaluations that desperately need help. Great way to make the stigma of mental health issues worse, frankly. Plus, a therapist or counselor might be more inclined to report you for being harmful to cover their ass from potential lawsuits or problems. What clinical and legal criteria determines "dangerous", by the way? Feelings? Words? A hunch? This is scary shit, for everyone involved.
  19. I think there's another thread about this, and conspiracies built off of media incompetence aren't very convincing.
  20. I grew up using lard to season, but I don't think it matters too much most any cooking oil works. 2 hours at 350 degrees will season 'em just fine. Using it is the best seasoning, tho, really...especially bacon...gets that flavor in there plus you get bacon.
  21. Shitty reporting doesn't make a conspiracy. I hate Obama and the libtard gun grabbers with a passion, but the amount of people needed to engineer something like this and their ability to shut up and work in concert makes me realize it could never happen. This administration isn't talented enough for that kind of machination.
  22. There were both congressionally owned/funded warships and privateers with Letters of Marquee (outfitted with privately held cannon). There were also limited numbers of privately owned artillery pieces during the war. I've read that Nathaniel Greene paid for some himself, and retained them after the war and I'm sure he was not alone in that. The whole point of this was that even during their times significant military advancements were being made and most all of them were aware of technologies on the horizon that would mean greater firepower. Most of the developments were merely too expensive or cumbersome for the battlefield, but they KNEW those things existed and the 2nd was written to protect those items, not to inhibit their ownership. Arms meant weapons of war, to fight the same weapons as an invader or oppressor, even to include artillery....clearly.
  23. Fuck that miserable stinking liberal shithole, and fuck everyone who cheers for this kind of feel-good draconian bullshit. I hope their violent crime rate goes up, stays up, and they never figure it out. The voting block deserves the low-capacity soft-drink utopia they have begged for.
