  1. From everything I've gathered so far, this is a wet dream of a project, and the client is a large corp in Columbus. I'm trying to get myself positioned for this, but there are extra spots.

This would be an awesome job / experience. What is the duration? I would love to do it but the kids, wife, etc, etc, etc.....

    write erase

    reload

    Instant cure-all. :)

    Cisco 101 right there

  2. And people wonder why there is so much bullying going on in schools

and we have a winner!!!! Seriously, who give a flying fuck if it was a guy or a woman? To each their own. Scruit, you have a serious issue with this paparazzi/ National Enquirer must video or snap a picture of everything mentality. The funny thing is she was probably saying "look at this dumbass trying to be sly to take my picture".

  3. I am afraid to see what will happen to the TV contract after this. The last time, the moved from ESPN to Versus. This time they will probably get dropped down to QVC.

The NHL is safe on the NBC Sports Network. They are using it as a cornerstone to develop the brand along with F1.

The NHL coming to town fucked up a good thing.

Watching the Chill (ECHL) play at the fairgrounds was waaaaay better.

I couldn't agree more. As a season ticket holder to both, the Chill was a f'ing blast. Nationwide is too sterile of an environment, but 9 years of shitty hockey will do that.

  4. I went to an OSU game not too long ago. Not as good as an NHL game, but it got wanting to watch again. I'm pissed it took so long but I guess it's better than no season at all?

Agreed. Glad it is a 10 year deal. With any luck that will mean that walking talking turd of Commissioner will be gone by then. It will be interesting to see the schedule and what the CBJ is going to do for us season ticket holders

  5. Theils Wheels in Upper Sandusky. Ask for Sean or Josh Smiley and tell them T.J. sent you.

Hopefully the HD side is ran better than the metric side. With any luck this Saturday will finally mark the end of my ordeal with them that began exactly 8 months ago as of Saturday. They have gone through at least 4 Service Mangers in that time.

I have a buddy that bough his from Jim's in Mendon and said they are good to deal with.

  6. Yep, Raber Bay! There's some really good salmon fishing off of detour. What do you do while you're there?

Awesome! In the summer we do a lot of ship watching, quad riding, hiking and fishing when I'm not working on mom's house. There are a lot of trails on the island plus they have been logging for the past 5 years and made a bunch of new "roads" that we walk. Lot's of wildlife, deer, moose (occasionally), 'yotes, black bear and suppossibly there is a cougar too. In the winter it is riding snowmobiles from morning to night. In the winter there are less than 125 fulltime residents on the island. The island is 5 miles long by 2 miles wide, so we pretty much have the entire place to ourselves. We like to ride down the river on the ice and have lunch at Raber Bay bar, great place to to have a good lunch and a few beers. We also like to ride up to Paradise and the to the Falls, great way to spend the day.

  7. I'm hoping so! Xmas ale, Blackout Stout and a one off "special edition NYE toast" beer will be on tap so ill probably not remember most of the night

I hate you! I sat in Old Bag of Nails a weekago and got lit on Blackout Stout. I love that stuff but it near impossible to find. OBN just happened to tap their keg because some other beer ran out. Have fun!

  8. You do plumbing stuff? I'm going to have a need here in a few months, redoing my little half-bath in the foyer and I want to branch off hot/cold/drain to the garage which the bathroom shares a wall with to put a utility sink there. Figured it would be a easy-ish job, but I have absolutely no plumbing experience at all.

That would be a pretty easy job. I've done both PVC and copper work in my houses. The biggest pain would be the finish drywall work.
