    christmas

i was just going to give those kids guns and crack. but i think the simple wooden toys they'll use to light up their playskool crack pipe is better.
  2. i think the brand new QSL opening up in Mentor would be absolutely fantastic, and just fucking great for everybody. Plus, we can get mad street cred if we can get bike night there before the stunnas do. a moral victory, one worth fighting for. am i right or am i right?!
  3. i'll take the machine! i'm gonna undercut pauly like crrrrrrazzzzzaaaay lol jaaaay kaaaay no but really, i want the machine. i can paypal?
  4. if i wasnt attached to the bike, i'd just sell it and get something shinier and fancier next time when i DO have time to ride.
  5. lol, i agree. i'm just too much of a bish to ride one. i was told i would die fo shizzle.
  6. yeah, i've come to realize that it's very easy to start... the key seems to be i have to be in neutral. If i can't find neutral, i have to get her in second, clutch in, then lean the bike up against something so i can stand on the kickstarter and just slam down on the lever with all my weight and that'll get her going in a kick or two. the main problem with finding neutral is that the clutch seems to be dragging a bit... so if i'm in first, and i have the clutch lever squeezed, i can hear the engine lugging a bit at idle and there is just the faintest sensation of the bike wanting to pull forward. not sure what to do to fix that...
  7. you should take the job as long as you give me a heads up on sexy cars in good shape and which auction they're going to.
  8. fear not, children. our rep is still there, it just doesnt show up. statistics page still shows reputation. lucky me, I'm #13
  9. the yamahahaha manual says that after a certain year, automatic decompression was introduced (apparently, 05's have this feature where it decompresses during the kick or some crap) so the lever is the hot start. someone told me it was weird that i didn't have a hot start button next to the choke, but i guess this is why.
  10. i heard those southern guys are faaaaaast. this was coming from some instructors in the "northern" group.
  11. my 05's manual says it is a "hot start" lever. i have no clue lol.
  12. i don't think it was anything malicious. if the sponsors have a good deal on tires going on, i'd definitely give them preference over a non-sponsor.
  13. i see they also have diablo rosso... what the hell are the differences? i've only used the corsa III's. how would these compare? EDIT: package is only for supersport. apparently, they are a single compound tire, and were introduced in 2002, so it might be considered "old tech". however, should be fine for just about anything, but may not get quite as good mileage or grip (can't determine which based on reviews) since it is a single compound. then again, maybe they're comparable to the pilot powers (I think those are also single compound?). that's all I've been able to dig up for now.
  14. after a day at beaverun on saturday, i took my new (used) dirt bike out for a spin at crow canyon on sunday. it was the first time i've ridden a dirt bike (unless you count the 2 min jaunt in the backyard of my house), so i was very excited. I was told it would be a whole lotta moving around of the front and rear tires, and that i would be sore everywhere afterwards. effort was made to relay the severity of the conditions to me, but i definitely underestimated the true extent of the horrors i was getting into. first off, on the street or track, i've rarely felt the back tire slide around. definitely less than a dozen times... and every time i was pretty skeered. when i got on the dirt bike, whether riding through the trail or the mx track, EVERYTHING moved around. i was just overwhelmed by how much the front and rear flops around endlessly. it didn't help that there was mud everywhere, and the fact that i, once again, got too much bike for my own good (yz250f with more than just a bit of work done). this resulted in me falling about 5~6 times or more. I basically stopped counting at 5. 3 of those were tumblers (i was magically going fast enough for me to actually tumble upon hitting the ground). luckily, i had mx pants with padding in a few places, and a good pair of mx boots, so my injuries were minimal. I had bruises here and there, and the bike is in even better condition than i am. actually, other than the mud plastered all over it, you can't tell i even rode the thing. thank you, bark busters and guards in appropriate places. the hardest part of the day for me was getting the damn bike started after i inevitably stalled or dropped it. the bike actually starts very easily on 1 or 2 kicks... but you have to be in neutral. and for some reason, neutral was very hard to find, especially with those ridiculous boots. otherwise, the bike is a dream to ride, though i have nothing to compare that experience to, so who knows. i'm told by those who know better than me that the power is "amazing" for a 250. i didn't attempt any jumps of any kind (I am sane and a pansy ass bitch), but i did tackle some easy hill climbs and descents, and managed to get home in 1 piece. there were a few moments there where i thought i was going to get into trouble, but the bike saved me whenever i just let it do the work. in short, dirt riding is awesome, painful, and much cheaper fun than the track. a totally different kind of fun, but fun nonetheless. i originally wanted to get on the dirt bike to help my street/track riding, but this might turn into a completely different obsession all together... that is, if i can get this goddamn piece of shit fucking asshole bike kick started (well, that's what i sounded like in my helmet after I stalled the bike for the 8th time).

  17. so is this why Mr. Anderson quit posting on here? cause he was getting neg repped by people who were signing as someone else? that makes me a saaaaad panda
  18. i think it's harmless fun. also, it's a good way for me to gauge what's "acceptable and possibly even funny" and what's "completely over the fucking line". like, who knew I'd get mad rep for posting a picture of the Ku Klux Klan burning a cross in a thread about hating black people? I certainly didn't. But now I know I can go up to the next step and lynch a bitch. I'll hit OVER 9000!!!!11!111!!11!1 in no time.
  19. not sure how the install will be on the Z, but the install on my 600rr was a biatch. mostly, cause the idiot who had it before me decided to tear off the TPS plug and we had to figure out which wire was coming out of the TPS to the ECU. besides any install difficulties (you're not a tard like me, so i'm sure it'll go just fine), you can proceed one of several ways. 1. Install the PCIII, turn your bike key to on (might not have to start... but then again, you might have to). and you should be good to go, as long as that other guy left the map on there. 2. if you want to mess around with the map, plug a 9V battery in, then plug the PCIII with USB cable into your computer. Load up the CD (might want to update, if there is one), and load whatever map you want. this would be pre-install, unless you're using a laptop, in which case you just install it on to your bike, then plug it into the computer USB port.
