I actually saw an episode on bait car or cops, whatever show they try and catch guys stealing cars, where this guy got in a bait car, moved it across the street because it was blocking traffic and got out of the arrest with that story. He was being a helping citizen from what they said so they let him go.

We could swing that way or head down South for a decent ride if you want. He just got his bike running again with a thermo and new tires so I know he'll want to go out for a decent amount of time.

^^^ This is the best option, that way you don't have to schedule an appointment with the OSHP and have it looked over and deal with getting the title to read rebuilt salvage.

What will end up happening is they will give you what the market value of the bike is in it's condition before the wreck. If you decide to buy it back they'll give you a buy back price which they will cut from your reimbursment check. Sounds like you should have a few grand coming back into your pocket.

If you don't have a bent frame I'd definitely buy it back and profit.

Just put him on the back of it and take him for a test ride. And no one let me test ride without cash in hand or anyone that I brought with me. I personally wouldn't let anyone test ride my bike either without cash in hand.

I bought my car back. Normally they'll just take it out of your reimbursment check. Depends on if anything is part wise is salvagable to say if it's worth it or not.

I bought my 07sv650s in 09 with 2k miles on it for 3200. A little extra money can get you a lot more bike.

I don't know if my buddy is going to this so I may be looking for someone to split a room with. As far as trailering is concerned I don't know if I'm riding down or not. I've also only met a few of these people once. They're super easy to get along with too. And definitely try to make the next CSBA ride. It'll be a blast.

You'll get bored of a 250 quicker than it takes you to get the title in your name.
