    Katadyn

    From the album: Gear

  2. Edit: Just saw the answer to my question.
  3. I don't own a shotgun, but if I did own one for home defense it would be for the safety of nothing leaving my house and hitting a civilian outside of my home if I did have to fire upon an intruder. A handgun round will make it through your walls and keep going if you miss your intruder.
  4. Nice pistol. I love my BD. Where are you ordering from? If you haven't ordered yet and are thinking about doing any modifications look at CZcustom. If you order from there and have any work done to it before you get it you'll save some money on shipping. Short Reset Trigger system is something to look into. Also, look into the meprolight night sights. They cost a few dollars less and supposedly last longer than Triji. The only negative is they don't offer any color combos if that's something you'd want. Mec Gar mags are definitely a quality mag and can normally be found cheaper than CZ mags too for when you do purchase more.
  5. http://www.amazon.com/olight-Warrior-tactical-flashlight-brightness/dp/B006QBM5RS This is what I use. I prefer not to go mounted with a pistol. You could look at the streamlight TLR series if you want it mounted. They also have laser/ light combos.
  6. i you get the new pmags you can use your old dust covers, they just won't snap on the bottom of the new pmag.
  7. Do you want something with variable? I have no experience with what's mentioned above or what you're looking at. Maybe take a look at the Leupold Mark 4 CQ/T. I'm using a Burris MTac 1-4 on my AR now and want to get the Burris XTR. I'm more than happy with my MTac and the glass clarity but the XTR offers a better reticle IMO and is a more sturdy built optic. Also, I think the Aimpoint PRO would be worth looking at as well. I've heard nothing but great reviews about them and they can be had for 400.
  8. Stocks, DDD. Precious metals.
  9. I would look on gunbroker completed sales and see what similar items are going for.
  10. Sportsmans guide is an awesome site that normally has the best deals on ammo online. I'm a part of the members club. They ship super fast and have great pricing. I always check there first to order anything.
  11. I'd be looking to get a Savage Arms or a Remington 700 in .308 if I was looking for a bolt gun that could shoot at a distance. Most savage rifles come with the AccuTrigger now as others have stated and both would be a good platform to build on.
  12. Look at the Nalgene bottles. They have a canteen shape bottle. I know they sell them at Target and they have combo deals online that include free shipping. I've been looking into the Katadyn pocket filter to go with it but need to do more research on the filtering system.
  13. Definitely a good place. It's small but the place focuses on having good beer on tap. Elevator is good too but they only serve their brew.
  14. http://tonystactical.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=2&products_id=3 They also have all of the separate components if you already have the frame and ruck. I honestly think it might be cheaper to order a complete off ebay and then order the upgrades with the frame and you'll have an extra frame with straps to add a ruck to or sell.
  15. An Alice pack is an inexpensive route to go for anyone looking at bags. I started with one I got on Ebay for 30 dollars that had upgraded straps which came in woodland. They're a little longer and thicker than the regular ones. (Shown on the left) I ended up ordering another frame with the Hellcat mods which are molle compatible straps and molle waist strap. This set up is much more comfortable IMO and offers you to fit your gear to your pack to tailor your needs or set up. It's an affordable pack set up.

    Alice

    From the album: Gear

  17. I have an Alice Pack with the hellcat mods (upgraded belt and straps). 32 oz Nalgene bottle in a carrier. I plan on purchasing a Katadyn Pocket filter next week but need to do some more reading and research on water filtration devices. I have a SOG tactical tomahawk for my tool. 3 days of water and food. Plenty of paracord, fresh socks and underwear. 1 set of regular clothes and 2 sets of camo. An aeropress coffee maker. Dryer flint (Makes for easy fire starting.) Lighters batteries matches Basic first aide kit with a few rolls of gauze Tobacco and pipe A few other things. You need to make sure that you have good clothing and good footwear. Socks and undies are probably one of your most important items. I still have some items that I need to add but feel I have a lot of my basics covered.
  18. Not a big deal. These 800 volunteers are going to build billion dollar businesses in their parents basement and create more than 100k jobs combined.
  19. I would stick to that idea of a 3 series. I'm sure you're talking a newer model but, I'm still in love with my old E30 and am dead set on owning another in my lifetime and keeping it. It'll be able to handle all OH driving conditions easily with a set of tires for the winter. You'll also have something fun to drive in the warmer weather. You could find a good Subaru in that price as well which would be a car on my list. Or just stay with Toyota and get a Corolla and keep saving for something that's not a daily commuter.

If you still can't get it post up and I'll take some step by step pictures for you tonight.

Also, in your Itunes settings when the phone is connected, click the box that says Manually Manage Playlists or something like that. ITunes auto sync feature really used to piss me off. This is probably what is causing you the most trouble.

If all of your music is actually organized this should be very easy for you. ITunes should notify you of duplicate songs. Import all of your music to Itunes, then create a new playlist and put all of your music in that playlist. Itunes should then say, Duplicates on this playlist, continue? Just put don't add duplicates. Then make a new playlist from that playlist that doesn't have any duplicates to add to your phone. Drag Playlist to your phone and wait for it to sync. Also, wait until you have safely disconnected your device until you take it off the cable, it'll mess all sorts of shit up. While Itunes is definitely not the best quality music player, it most definitely should be the easiest to organize your music, it's the only reason I use it.

It's probably going to be easier to just move all of your music to ITunes and organize from there. Then make separate play lists in Itunes. That way when you plug your phone in, transferring songs and deleting them will be easy.
