  1. Sounds like a cool gig. Would it require a move to Wisconsin?
  2. Ended up being $180. The same price for 1 - 20 over the speed limit, in Clark county. No points. I paid online, not worth fighting.
  3. I appreciate the heads up. I have progressive, and pay $275/year for 2 bikes. I should be safe.
  4. Never had any craziness with speeding tickets in cars.
  5. Speaking from experience?
  6. We just went a couple of weeks ago. but... **We lucked out with free parking, by pulling onto the lot 5 mins before they opened**
  7. 5 years, 3 bikes, 25,000 miles...and I got my first speeding ticket. 74 in a rural 55 zone, on the 300. Hwy 40, outside of New Carlisle(greater Dayton). Don't know the price of the ticket. Oh well, cop was professional. I was pulled over, before he completed his U-turn. Thought I might get lucky fore being honest/polite. I guess this is the price we pay to have fun, once in awhile.
  8. On autos, brought the G8 GXP into the base hobby shop for a quick oil change. It was kind of a spur of the moment situation, as the wife was with me and they were about to close. They are super strict about starting projects close to closing time. I assured them I was competent enough to complete the job in 15 minutes, and be out of their hair. Well, I get the car on the lift, and realize maybe driving around all morning before a rushed oil change wasn't the smartest idea. i had no access to gloves or anything to protect me from the boiling hot oil. I had to just man up, and tolerate the burned skin. LOL. On bikes, I have accidentally doubled up on the new/old filter gaskets. Leaking oil everywhere when cranked up Had me confused all night. On planes, I had recently transitioned from 707s to a 747. I hopped out of the truck to top off the engine oil after a flight. I grabbed the type of oil I had used for 5 years. Noone told me the 747 engines used a different oil. Spent the rest of the night draining/flushing the engine. I have loads more. Not enough time to type them all.
  9. I think he found it hard to believe there were 16 LEGITIMATE bids.
  10. Don't get in a rush, even if you are running late. Friends & family will understand if situations come up. Arrive Alive!
  11. If I had a mullet...I'd rock that.
  12. People died for your right to OC. Your'e going to disrespect that by pretending you don't even have a gun? If you don't stand up for your rights, who will? Does the NRA know you back down so easy?
  13. LOL. I thought it was something like that. I also saw the CNBC logo...thought maybe it was a funny news story.
  14. Why would you do that. You are legally allowed to OC. Why are you bowing down to the public. It's not your problem, it's theirs. Maybe you should just give me your guns and cancel your NRA membership.
  15. I doubt those bumper stickers have convinced anyone to do anything.
  16. I don't think you're "helping the cause" as much as you think you are. You are like the burned out pothead, thinking he is a great political activist for marijuana rights...but everyone is laughing at him. It wasn't illegal for the guy to carry on the bike. It wouldn't be illegal for people to call the police, either
  17. From the bank? . . . . . or wives?
