  1. So, the purpose of owning/carrying a gun is to further an agenda...the truth comes out. LOL. The "activists" in this forum are always the first to take the discussion to the immature/personal level.
  2. Maybe he should wear a proper motorcycle jacket
  3. I agree. I use different radars, and make my own judgement. If I believed Ohio weathermen, I would never get to ride.
  4. ORDN is the BEST! Based on the fact I've never heard of this rideohio.org
  5. It is mandatory for base riders to attend the event. It is an authorized alternate duty location. There is a signed letter by the Commander. As far as what you do during the actual ride, I'm not 100% sure. My shop is pretty leniant. We do a small group ride. Safer, IMO.
  6. I asked around, It sounds like anyone can attend the outside portion. This will will have vendors, food, and demo teram starting after 1100. Just go to the AF Museum and hang a left toward all the bikes.
  7. The Chinese know all my favorite pron sites.
  8. I believe they check for IDs at the briefing, but the rest is just on the Museum grounds, so i guess it is possible I can get better details on Wednesday.
  9. Sorry. ***INTENDED FOR BASE EMPLOYEES**** I was just trying to reach a few base people, that may be on this site. Just military and base employees. It starts with a mandatory safety brief. Then vendors, lunch, stunt/performance teams. Wraps up with a group parade/ride(that I have no interest in).
  10. ***INTENDED FOR BASE EMPLOYEES**** Sorry for any confusion. Anyone here attending the WPAFB/Base Motorcycle Day on Friday 5/31/13? I will be attending, with 3 friends/coworkers. We will do the mandatory stuff, then do our own ride afterwards. Tentatively, we will meet at the Colonel Glenn Hwy Waffle House @ 0830, before rolling to the museum.
  11. An additional "View New Content" button near the bottom of every page, so I don't have to scroll back to the top.
  12. The Bookmark icon. It used to be an OR. Now it looks like a V, with a blue background.
  13. Forget it. I don't want to argue semantics. I'm done in this thread.
  14. I guess other sister service dress codes are different. Marines being the strictest. But still, rules like that fly out the window when you are on a detachment like that. I've heard of USAF Honor Guard: glueing uniforms together, sewing seams(to look sharper, opposed to exclusive iron/starch), taping nickels into trouser cuffs(to hang straighter), etc. I guess my point is, when your job is all about image, sometimes rules are broken. None of which, should be of the general public's concern!
  15. Smart enough to do it inside...genius! Although, the Marines would be there regardless. So if they have to hold some umbrellas, doesn't hurt my feelings.
  16. Still a lot of gun to conceal...
