  1. I can't keep up with all the threads. Is he keeping the shop/business open? I've heard nothing but the best from people's experiences.
  2. Take the sign down, and let Darwin have his way.
  3. Get a cheap 250 for her to learn. If she wants something else sell the 250 for what you paid for it. /thread
  4. $3,500 is a good price for such low miles. I don't agree with the above posts about the 250r being in a niche group and depreciating more than other bikes. Someone is ALWAYS looking for a "small" clean/stock bike in the spring.
  5. I found my "Chinese Title" taped to the Harbor Freight box. I registered with only that document in 5 minutes. Now I just have to install my chock and make up some ramps.
  6. I'm getting the run-around trying to plate my trailer. I was told you need to bring the trailer to the BMV location for registration. So out I went. I got pulled over for no trailer plate, driving it the first time ever, on my way to BMV for a new plate. When I get there they said all the computers are down in the state. Noone can do anything til Tuesday because of the holiday. I still stuck around to ask critical questions. BMV says I need to get the trailer weighed, to register it. Is this true? She said the only other way, is with a certificate of origin. Could the data plates on the trailer meet this requirement? How is everyone handling these issues?
  7. Here is your challenge if you choose to accept it: I'd be interested in a 2003 7.3L Eddie Bauer 4x4, with 2nd row captain seats, DVD, as close to OEM as possible(stock wheels/suspension/paint), less than 150K miles, southern truck(no rust), non-smoker, clean carfax, in MINT condition. For that I might go up to $20,000. I would spend much less without those requirements.
  8. Thanks for the responses. Keep 'em coming. 1) Is there an aftermarket oilpan that won't give me trouble, if it does need to be replaced? 2) Any non drivetrain issues to look for? 3) The only one i've driven was a base model V-10. It's steering would wander all over the road at highway speeds. Is this typical? Fixable?
  9. I want a 7.3L Powerstroke Excursion 4x4. Tell me stuff...
  10. 229 was awesome! Scary conditions, but still fun.
  11. Thinking about heading to Indiana for today's ride. Around Brookville Lake/121/229/52. No particular time, but if noone says anything, I will leave the Dayton area at 1pm.
  12. We have 2 checking accounts at different banks. Sometimes it is a pain...then I think about stolen CC numbers. They wouldn't be able to wipe us out as easily. My logic anyway. Glad your bank caught it. **Also good to always have cash when you're on the bike.**
  13. I would take the Boulevard. Definitely would add a windscreen, probably add saddlebags.
  14. Thoughts on riding from Dayton, OH to Anchorage, AK? There is a small possibility I will move to Alaska. The USAF is going to pay for the trip, I'm seriously considering riding up there. I would have the family in a chase vehicle. Averaging 400 miles a day. It could be a "once in a lifetime experience" I know there are some more appropriate sites to ask the real questions. Just looking for some fun discussion.

    Congratz! What color?
  16. Any interest for a ride out of Dayton-area on Sunday afternoon(1pm or so)? Weather permitting of course, but, I will go out in the 40s if it is dry. Route does not matter, just back in town before dusk!
  17. I rode about 70 miles around Caesar's Creek. Not bad for early Feb. Prolly go out Sunday(2/10/13) and rack up some more...

$5250 with all expenses paid OTD is OK. Here is a decent thread on an awesome site: http://www.ninjette.org/forums/showthread.php?t=114560 The 300 itself is great!
  19. What? I did not read any of that.
  20. Minus a background check, sure you can.
