I did get to hear about a busa story and Udell got faster. That new 10 is the shit.

Tony is correct and Dave was my first track coach. This was Tony's ride so he didn't have the chance to see anyone else ride to offer help because he was leading. I was just playing around out back looking to see if anyone needed help. Mike53ali looked like he could use some help to make things easier for him by letting the bike do some of the work for him along with making him safer. I followed link for a while and it didn't appear he needed help so I got behind Rob and lead him for a while. The three guys up front didn't need any help from me because they were really moving out. Not that Rob wasn’t but he just didn’t seem relaxed doing it.

You won't hear anything from me about a lack of braking. The street isn't the place to run up hard on corners and brake when you see God. If you noticed I bet you didn't see much braking going on by the riders in front of you in the group. You really rode fine and if you wanted to go faster it didn't show like it usually does when people push themselves into mistakes. I don't recall seeing you do anything wrong at all. Adding more advanced riding techniques is about making you safer so you have more room to adjust for the unexpected things that come up in street riding. Going faster is a byproduct of using better techniques but not their sole purpose, safe enjoyable riding is the purpose. You appeared to be having a safe enjoyable ride. Yes there are things you could work on just like all of us but I didn't catch that you wanted or needed help just from following you. Don't be shy and ask when you have the opportunity, everyone I know when on a group ride is willing to help. We all have benefited from someone else’s knowledge and it's nice to be able to pass it along to people who can use it.

I worked Yamaha's demo day at the rock-n-roll hall of fame a few years ago and everyone who rode that bike loved it. Even the people who were there to ride something else but couldn't because their bike was booked up for that session. One guy rode it a second time even though he came wanting to ride another bike and never rode the one he came to ride. Nice bike, have fun with it.

Link, I apologize for not giving you any advice but you seemed really comfortable and weren't doing anything wrong along with that it didn't appear you wanted to pick up your pace. You ride monster miles and do them safely, why fuck with a winning combination. You could go faster just the way you were riding without a problem because you are smooth, pick good lines and let the bike work for you. I would be glad to help if you had any specific things that were bothering you but you really looked good when I was following you, comfortable and relaxed. I love your bike. Mike appeared to want to ride faster and he was working against himself trying to do it. He will get there but just needs to work on a few things. Ninjadoc I will not be making your ride because I need to have my fork seals replaced and won't have them done by then. I appreciate the offer to help and I know your limitations. (My brother is a Physician’s assistant.)

Great route Tony, I can't believe I haven't been on some of those roads before especially since I have been all around them. I should explore more when I get out on my own. It took me 4-1/2 hours to get home from the first stop I made at the intersection of 70 & 77. I just couldn't bring myself to get back on the bike after I made a stop. If my girlfriend could hook up the trailer and find all of my trailer restraints I would have had her come get me. A Percocet last night & some Aleve this morning are helping me to cope with the discomfort. I was pulling up to the intersection of 83 & 93 to take another break on the ride home and Jinx was there with another guy out going for an afternoon ride. They hung out with me for a while and decided to escort me home after seeing how much distress I was in. I know what’s going on, it's just that I have two conflicting issues battling each other and have been trying to regulate them without my doctor’s help. Time for that to stop, it sucks getting old.

I would love to do it but unless I can pick a fight with the girlfriend to piss her off enough that she wants me gone for the day between now and time to leave in the morning I doubt it, especially since she is already in bed. She wants me gone from the house on Saturdays so riding isn't a problem but we have plans for tomorrow that I don't have a problem breaking but she does. Have fun & be safe guys. Route looks good and I haven't been on 377 or that part of 550, would like to try it sometime because it looks good by the map.

Why no love for 255?

If you're not here where are you? -
Good price. I just bought a 2003 Gas Gas Pro 280 for the same price and thought I got a pretty good deal even though it needs a little work.

$25,000 custom motorcycle stolen from garage in Newark

If you're trying to equate a crotch crawling riding pirate costume to proper protective gear I'm missing your point. One is a butt buddy look at me everybody is the same sheep following costume of no value and the other actually serves a protective purpose. Trying to draw a comparison between the two is ridiculous. I ride a scooter and a sport bike and have had a cruiser in the past. The scooter does everything the cruiser does better with less expense and when I ride it I rarely wear protective gear. I have never ridden around anyone here without protective gear on a sport bike. I know the difference between the two types of riding and both are just as dangerous. I hate the whole stupid waving thing too. -
Just because you say it doesn't make it so. Fair and balanced. I'm honest, you can trust me.
-
You so funny. Trust me, I wouldn't lie.

The pictures look great but they don't do this bike justice, it is just beautiful in person. The one time it went down was very minor and cosmetic in nature, it was ridden home the damage was so minor.
-
I like the way this guy thinks. If I pass someone on my scooter without wearing any safety gear and they don't wave at me........................................................ ................I AM THE COOLEST MOTHERFUCKER ON THE PLANET!!!!!!!!!!!! Yeah me.

http://hotair.com/archives/2011/08/26/a-tale-of-two-cities-wisconsin-edition/ Could Ohio benefit from the same? I liked the bill from the start and if we can benefit like Wisconsin I think I love it. Need to do some looking around to find out where we stand.

I'm still trying to get this done this year -
Does anyone know where to get race plastics for a 14, the race legal kind that will hold the appropriate amount of fluids?
-
I went from four or five track days with two or three in intermediate never in advanced and tried to race one year. I probably should have waited after doing more track days but I picked up more speed by racing than by doing track days.
-
Thread jacking is a sport and highly encouraged. I have had a Busa on a couple different tracks but just doing a track day. I have never seen a 14 or Busa being raced and if he was trying to keep his points up borrowing a 600 would have given him a better chance. There is no way that a 14 would place on a road racing circuit unless there were enough DNFs to allow it. I know for certain that I would be able to beat my time around a course riding a Busa with a 600 and can't think of too many instances where that wouldn't be true for anyone. I would like to hear about a 14 racing and how it actually turned out because how I think it would go might not be how it actually happened.

Mother fucker, when did talking about gay sex leave you open for a banning? I think you will be very busy banning people if you intend to censor gay sex, you purdy mouthed sexy bitch. -
I would love to hear more about this.

We have discussed this before but I wouldn't expect to see much of a drop in property taxes. A tax levy has to produce the same amount of money no matter what the overall value of property in an area is valued at. If all properties in an area lose 50% of their value it only makes the rate higher to generate the same money. This is only for levy money and not percentage money but levy money is usually the largest portion of property taxes in Ohio. http://chronicle.northcoastnow.com/2010/02/06/though-property-values-down-county-taxes-can-still-rise/

Old guys aren't quite so creepy when they are driving expensive cars? I see how you are.
