I also just found out from a guy how to do a 4 strand end so there is less slack on the sling end. -
I use 7 strand 550 cord. I think it is 5/32 size.

Think it would have still put holes in it well past that. LOL!

It should be fine past 50 yards. I have shot a old pan at 25 yrds with a .22 and put holes in it. At 50 it leaves a dent, So I would guess at 100 it might leave a small mark but would be fine. We could shoot it with my .17hmr if you want to perforate it LOL!

LOL I blew holes into kawi kids gongs that were almost three times that thick with my 5.56 metal core ammo.

So since this is a knife thread and to get back on topic. I was at the gun show today and got to check out some of the spartan knifes. Very well made and are unreal how sharp they are for their size. If not for the sticker shock pricing I would almost have bought one. But man are they pricey(for my cheap ass that is)

Went to the gun show today, picked up a few small things. I got some frog lube also today and put it on a few of my handguns will see how it works out.

I worked thirds this week, I got off work sunday at 7 am. I came home took a "nap" that ended up being half the day Not much better this week I have to work up to Sat at 11pm.

Stuck at work all weekend. No riding for me.
