For anyone looking the fin in middleburg hts still has some green tip on the shelf and it is marked up but not to horrible. They had plenty of 5.56 cheap also I picked up some independence brand 5.56 for $6.49 a box. They had half cases 500 rnds for $162.

Picked up a magpul b.a.d. lever today. And some cheap ammo, fin has 5.56 brass for $6.49 a box picked a few up.

They make AR type rifle in 30/06 now so yes you could make a pistol. Better call the gov. and let them know.

Yeah im not even looking at upper parts much yet. I want to finish my lower first.

No mine is gonna cost lots when done, an im not looking to skimp on what i put into this rifle.

Just ordered a few parts for the build. Got a strike ind hex ambi selector switch, and a spikes lower gun builder kit. Shipping today now to start saving for my trigger an stock to finish the lower.

Im going to order some small parts for the lower when i get a chance. Daniels defense gun builder lpk, an a magpul/noveske ambi selector switch. I gotta save up for the trigger its gonna run me almost $300 shipped. The stock i am going with is gonna take a bit of saving also. The buffer spring an buffer will be bought before the stock.

Good deal mine is gonna be a slow build. It will end up costing me near $2500 when finished with optics. One peice at a time here.

So my boss has asked us to help her find 2 full time employees. I work for the Lincoln Electric Co. in the flux department. We are VERY short handed right now, she has been having a hard time finding people. She asked us to reefer anyone we know who would meet the job specifications. So the short of it is we need a non-smoker/chewer, clean drug test, hard working person. Must be willing to swing shifts, work weekends, be able to cover call offs when needed. Also must be able to work in hot/cold claimant, confined spaces, heights, dusty dirty areas, with no lunch break. LOL I know sounds like a great job right? But it pays well for a high school education. If you are in need of a solid company to work for who does not layoff, and pays well for hard work send me a pm and we can talk. I get nothing out of this but less overtime to cover the missing personnel and more time home with my family.

Yeah shop around even saving a little on each part can save hundreds when its all done.

Im on there already. That place has turned into a pissing match to often on peoples personal preferences. It has some good info though, if you have deep enough waders to slosh through all the shit.

What problems have you run into?

Im thinking spikes standard spring with a st-t2 buffer. Mostly looking at spikes stuff to match the lower for a tight fit, but putting quality parts inside.

Ok so im starting my first ever build. Wow, the options out their are over whelming to me. I am set on what i want to build, a 18 inch hbar with a fast light trigger. I know what trigger i want and the stock is picked out. But as far as the barrel, upper, lower parts kit, an buffer set up im still looking. Going with a samson evo hand gaurd in 15 inch size. I have a spikes honey badger lower with a magpul miad grip, and trigger guard so far. Looking at a ares 18 inch stainless hbar, or a rra 18 inch stainless hbar. To many options lol.

Good thing i have all those beta mags in the wrappers.

I got a heated craftsman jacket that charges my phone for $50, an keeps me warm lol. Its a 12 volt lithium pack, lasts a long time.

I added my old leatherman to my truck bag so good to go now. If the blades were not so thin on the leek i would not have been tempted to mis use it lol.

Eh im kinda done with kershaw their quality for the money has gone down. Ill stick with mora knives for my truck bag, and a old school leatherman.

Yup gump nailed it. Unless you are capable of buying close to 1000 acres with 20 guys its gonna be as cramped at public anyway. I would go in on 20 acres with one person before i went in with a large group.
