what model mini did you have? 180,181,190's series? the 580 ranch rifles are from 05 and up they are much better. here is a crappy cell pic of my mini.. a few of my collection.

That and they are much thicker then the old ones are which mean less barrel whip and stringing when hot. If you have a older mini just add a strut to the barrel and it will help with the stringing. mine has a bull barrel from the factory with a harmonic adjuster on it. I like mine a lot but still want to get a evil ar-15 even if they are tempermental.

I have the target model mini 14. and it will shoot with ease out to 200 yards. I have never been to a range past that so I have no clue for accuracy past that. But I would say if he is looking, tell him to get the 580 series, they have a MUCH better barrel then the older ones. Anyone who says they have a mini that was unreliable needs to learn to take better care of his weapon?! I can run 200-300 rounds of dirty cheap ammo thru mine with out a hiccup. I might be there for a short time. I am headed a little south of cbus to pick up a dr 350 on sunday. If the timing is right I will try to swing by for a little bit. But I get out of work at 8 am sunday so it all depends how tired I am also.

wonder if this is the same canton cop who wrote over 1200 tickets last year? I have yet to come in contact with very many "good" cops. Everyone I have had contact with has been very rude and acted like I was a killer with a gun. BUT on the other hand the park ranger who pulled me over to politely ask me to slow down bit on my bike in the park was very easy to talk to about my chl. The city I live in seems to have at least one good cop in it also I was in a new truck with transfered plates and he pulled me over to see why they came back as car plates seemed to be ok with me having my ccw on me also.

how tall are you? That is my biggest concern with the dual sport is the seat height.
