Found out that the crank is only good for around 550 crank hp, just wanted to add that, price dropped to $2,000 reflecting that for the short block. Also until this sat, the 15th, price on the heads are $800 with everything. AFR 1422's are normally $1500 alone, add in the roller rockers and pushrods, its a steal. Great x-mas gift lol. ttt

The story has always been, Gsx-r on the street, and Yamaha's on the track. Both the R6 and R1 are much more track-focused bikes, Power waaaaaaaaaaaay up in the rpm's, ergo's straight off a race bike, and the suspension doesnt feel as good unless its really working. However, alot of people still get them for streetbikes, and i really happen to like the 03 R1's on the street, so really, just check em both out. and hey, if your looking at 05's, you would be doing your self a great disservice to not check out the kawi 636's. i think probably the best 600 class bike out for street riders.

I wanted to do a 514 in mine, then i changed up to the 347, now if i do anything in the near future it will be the cobra swap. i hate to sell this 347, but due to issues that have came up, i gotta have some extra cash. As stated it takes all of a few hrs to strip a c4 to a bare case, should have checked it out. I can say this much, if i ever had a shop build or freshen a trans and it only lasted 12 passes, drive time to the track and a few dyno pulls, you can bet i would be pissed as hell.
