  1. Whatever, sept is usual good riding still, lol.
  2. Shouldn't it be the other way around? Well, n/m, this is funny too...
  3. I'll say that my first impression of Aj was about the same, thought he was full of shit, and an arrogant prick, some dumbass ricer from zanesville... then he came up to the shop and proved it. Kidding aside,He really does know his shit when it comes to tuner cars, and he's picking up the domestic side quick as well, and shawn can vouch for how quick he picked up tig welding, wish i could lol. Now if he'll just get a real car, he can be cool like everyone else... Oh that and fix the giant dent in my wifes car door, apearently he backs up as well as he runs from cops... Hey, I need to get with you and shawn for a roll cage for the ranger. full 12pt, some frame ties and all that. you feel like building a jungle gym?
  4. Ok squidward, i'll only say this once, and then its up to you to decide what you really want. DO NOT GET A LITER BIKE! Not for your first one man, trust me, you'll enjoy the sport so much more if you get the basics down pat with out being scared shitless every other time you twist the throttle. Remember what i said about Ace's 1000? I still stand by that to, it really is the only bike i have been on that truly frightened me. 160 whp on a 55" wheelbase with easy low to mid 180's mph wise, yea it sounds cool, but bro, i really dont want to see you get fucked up or worse, and those bikes are brutal and need the rider to be at least on par with the bikes abilities. I have rode for right around 9-10 years now, but this is the first year i ever actually rode a liter bike. I rode a few busas, and while the topend rush is the same, they are much more manageable at low speeds, and contrary to popular opinion, provide a very stable platform for cornering. If and only if you really feel you want a big bore, check one of those out. But damnit, its about time you got one, get back here over the summer and you'll have to go down to southern ohio with a few of us and see what the whole point of riding a sport bike is.
  5. Very well thought out post, and great, great points, my only gripe would be this: Where do you cap what a person can make? 200k, 1 mil, 2 mil? Thats the downside to capitalism, you'll always have the very rich, and the very poor, and the rest of us somewhere in the middle.
  6. I just lol'd a lil bit, i wont lie...
  7. You still suck at teh police chases... lol. ... look at all the periods... Welcome to CR, bout time you got on here, now we'll see if you can live up to your asshole status from 740, you are going to have some competition here for sure! ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ...
  8. Dont mess with the kraut kompactor lol... So about that door, you have a pm...
  9. I thought about getting that actually, but its to much of a headache to go through that hackjob and get everything right. If someone was good with wiring, and figuring out all the mess ups, that would be a good base for a nice car.
  10. I dont know about buell's reliability, but i do know that they are an absolute blast to ride in the twisty shit. The dont have the balls out power of an i4 but they definintely have their niche.
  11. And then you backed into them and put a huge dent in the door right?
  12. Hit the motherfucker next time. Please. I can't stand people who think its their job to control the flow of traffic. On a main road/highway at least. Neighborhoods and shit are places to be chill and watch out for kids, old people, pets, old people backing right out infront of you, old people, and, most of all, old people. I swear to god, they must think once they are within 1/2 mile of home, there is no one else on the road. Totaly off topic, but old people piss me the fuck off. I get cut off one more time this week, fuck it, no brakes for me. Enjoy that mustang this winter, they are a fucking blast in the snow, but they do have a nasty tendency to step out on on-ramps and corners above 35. Keep that in mind. Also, something to think about, we all have made it this far on 2 things, luck, and taking peoples advice who know what the fuck they are talking about, and you dont seem to have luck on your side, so pay attention...
  13. Actualy yes you can, as i was the one to show josh i think. It wont work on all of them, but 30th and a few others do it around here...
  14. Shit yes they did, he rode over here like a week before thanksgiving, and ended up crashing out here since it got cold and started raining, he woke up at like 10 and his shit was gone. But yea, think about a sport touring bike if you dont have to have the baddest, fastest bike out there, they are a hoot, and like the zzr1200, are still scary fast on the top end...
  15. I just wanted to add one thing. my 1st post made it sound like i think nick is wasting his time and sucks at his job. Not so, he sounds like he does a hell of a good job, and like stated before, any and all experiance will pay off in the long run. I just think you take it a lil to serious at times man, that is all. Glad you got it figured out.
  16. So someone was smoking a lil weed making pizza? I do realize it's not professional, but then, you pay minimum wage, your benifits suck, and where do you go in a company like that? To store manager, to brag about having the highest sales in the surrounding state? You'd have to be high to want to do that and take it serious. hell, remember a few months back i pm'd you about pizza hut? yea, it took all of four seconds to say fuck that and go back to turning wrenches. Here's some advice, take it or leave it. loosen up that tie, roll a joint for yourself, relax, and quit fucking acting like you run a god damn fortune 500 company, You dont. Its pizza hut. brought to you by the makers of kfc and taco hell.
  17. "dumping the clutch" on any new sport bike will have your ass in a world of hurt before you even know wtf happened if you dont have the MUSCLE MEMORY to realize wtf your doing. riding a bike fast is nothing but reflex after reflex, you dont have time to sit and think of what to do next, and this is how newbs and squids end up smeared along side the road. Start on a 250-500cc or 99-down 600 ss, put in a few seasons learning and figureing out the dynamics of what you are doing, and i will put $20 that says you'll be a better rider, in the straights as well as the corners, then any wet behind the ears newb period. well there is that 1% or so of the population that just seem blessed with ability, but i doubt thats anyone on the board. Take it for what its worth.
  18. Oh jesus, are you getting a bike? Lol. Remember that 03 gixxer i had? do what i did, make some brakets that lower the rear sets, and then work on body position. thats where being comfortable on a sportbike comes from, unless your like 5' and 100 lbs lol. i'm 6'5" and 290 lbs, and i have really yet to find a bike, aside from ducati's, that i cant get comfortable on. let me know when you get one, ill help ya st it up for your height and shit, and get your suspension dialed in. Oh, i ride, well rode since some ass bag stole it off my porch, chris's 06 gixxer 1k quite alot, and that bike is probably one of the most comfortable bike i have ever rode. not a good bike to start on, as its still the only bike that has actualy scared me, but after a season on a 600/750, i would say look into something like that.
  19. set of completely worked brodix heads. pm me for details.
  20. 639rwhp on low boost so, what, well over 725-750 whp on kill in a production - 5.0 -block? You daily drive a pt88 fed 357? Thats crazy! That sounds like a very sick setup, are you guys really on a stock 5.0 block, if so how long has it held up? Shawns car should be well north of 600whp when the tuning is finished, and i should be close to 550-575whp on spray on my 347, i would really like to have hope that a stock block with the right parts can live under that kind of stress.
  21. Man, if i can find a serious buyer for this 347, that ls1 will be mine, but i have had 3 people back out in the last 2 days. Aside from that, i'm rather attached to my banana... lol.
  22. Easy answer is get rid of the bracket that the smog pump and alt bolt to, ditch smog pump, buy march alt bracket. adjust pipe as needed. not as easy as it sounds. lol. seriously though, a twin turbo kit isnt something that an amature with no fab skills should be messing with. i'd speak to one of the shops on here and get someone who knows what they are doing to help.
  23. Its a bad bitch, lol, he put me out 5 cars in my gt last night, he spun the first 3 gears, but as soon as that bitched hooked up he went by me like i was sitting still, with me being over 120mph... Nice job man, you have a fucking beast. Also, i would like to mention the term bus lengths, as that is what i was looking at when he let off lol. I need to get my damn motor in...
  24. Edit: Shawn posted under my name. Disregard. But i'm still down lol.
  25. Also, just a thought, 295's are not going to fit on the back of a fox without ALOT of BFH work, and even then, i dunno if the will fit. something to keep in mind.
