  1. I don't see what's so bad about this car, its pretty pimp if you ask me.... :bs: :marc2: Lol, and by pimp i of course mean that is the gayest fucking thing i have seen in a while, oh and im sure it makes 520 hp, yea ok, lmao...
  2. That car is stealthy as hell, aside from the bumper cover and the rims, it looks like a bone stock gt. I have a feeling there may be some seriously pissed off people on the streets next season... I still think the most impressive thing is you guys got that car built and running in less then a week! most shops take a month or longer to put somthing of this caliber out!

    Hello!

You're male, a closet ricer, and after that post, may possibly be gay as well. Not a real great combo. Good enough? I'm kidding of course... Welcome to CR...
  4. I'm down for a dig, i should have my stuff together by spring so i might be able to at least give you a race by then. Any chance of catching a run against the z06 next spring as well? Good luck on the FD build, those are some sick ass cars when done right, as i'm sure yours will be.
  5. cost wise no, street wise no, efficient maybe. Have you ever ridden a stretched bike on the street? its really not as bad as you think, a 6-8" over arm still handles great, and when you combind it with 1-2" lower and the front strapped at the track, you have a bike that can get out of the hole quite nice.
  6. On the oil, go to iron pony and get some motul or repsol synthetic in what ever weight your bike calls for, its pricey, but its the absolute shiz. i tried the mobil 1 synthetic motorycle shit and wasnt real happy with it, i started having some clutch slip issues above 10k on a fairly new clutch. went to a repsol full synth and after changing the oil twice the clutch came back.
  7. Yes the cush drive is what is between the rear sprocket and the rear wheel. it should have like 5-7 black rubber inserts that go into the wheel.
  8. Do you need the breakdown on mod motor history? 4.6 sohc - 96+ gt mustangs, lesser versions in trucks, suv's and big sedans. updated in 99, updated to 3 valve heads in 05 4.6 dohc - in n/a form has be in the cobras since 96, updated in 99, skipped 2000 since they had major power issues, and redesigned in 03 with a fully built bottom end and a eaton on top 5.4 sohc - has been in trucks since 97 or so, the big motor for 1/2 ton trucks, base motor for 3/4-1ton's. upgraded to 3 valve in i think 04. maybe 05. 5.4 sohc- supercharged, lightning motor, been around since 99 i think? 5.4 dohc- N/a has been in the navigators since late 90's, in the 2000 cobra r, and now with a blower has been installed in a shelby gt500. Basicly sharing nothing but the displacement with above 3 mentioned motors, there is the 5.4 out of a ford gt. different blower, cams, block, bottom end, etc. it does share heads with the gt500. hope that helps...
  9. Glad you guys could make it down, it was cool getting to meet you guys although i'm not sure i ever introduced my self, i was the guy in the grey shirt.
  10. Looking forward to seeing you all there tommorow, easiest directions from columbus would be this: 70E to rt 79 north, newark/heath exit, take 79 north to 16 east. 16 will split to the right from 79, and then you will have to merge to the left when you come around the corner. take 16e and get off on obannon ave and make a left, go over the railroad tracks and make the 1st left you can. thats mckinley ave, round II is about 3/8 mile down on the right, big grey building. look for the red round II trailer. if anyone gets lost or whatever, give me a call, 740-281-9976. you can also take 161 to 16e, just follow the directions above once on 16. See ya all in a few hrs lol. Matt
  11. Back from the dead! Lol, so the motor is here, and in the car imgoing to be swapping my motor into, and its giving me all kinds of shit. First the oil line popped, and sprayed oil all over the damn car, and now something is causing the body to become hot/live and its causing all kinds of shit with the starter and such. the car will fire if you push start it the first time, and it runs ok, so i dunno what is going on. I need some help tuning the carb in and setting the valves on the motor, so if anyone has any free time and would like to come down and check out the shop anyway, and wants to see how much power i can pull out of this 347, i cant pay ya much at all, but hell, ill buy ya a 12 pack or something. its a solid roller motor if that makes any difference for adjusting the valves, and it has a holley 750 dp race carb, choke re moved, etc. I picked up 122 hp so far from as it was delivered, but i still think theres another 30-40whp left in it. If anyone wants to, feel free to give me a shout, 740-281-9976. i would really appreciate the help, i gotta make sure that this motor is what i want before i make my mind up 100%, and im at my limit as far as tuning this thing in.
  12. Jb weld and go ride...
  13. Advice... hmm, don't do it? J/k
  14. So how are the bikes in the game, as far as like realism and all that?
  15. Well having ran 160-170 sustained in one i will say its very possible, but i see your point, while the srt is spinning its heart out the bmw is just strating to work. However, as the srt is spinning right about 6200-6300 at 165ish in 5th, if you could increase the rev range with a built motor and cams, you'd give yourself another 1000-1500 rpm as cushion. i'd say more along the lines of whatever car could cruise more economicly at 130 would be the best bet. you need to avg better then 95 mph to beat the record as it stands, so if you are rolling mid 100's the whole way, youre in there like swim wear
  16. Holiday late night roadtrips ftw... lol. I didn't see that they had added a second fuel cell. they had a nice setup for sure, but i still think a smaller, turbo'd 4-cyl performance car could be better for the persuit. Hell i bet an evo or sti or srt-4 with around 35-40 gallons of fuel could knock down 800-1000 miles between stops if the tuning is right... (thats20-25mpg) You dont need a 500-600hp monster to run 130-170 mph comfortablely in any of these cars.
  17. So they can still get naked before midnight?
  18. http://www.umpracing.com They are a sanctioning body, similar to imca. I hear ya on the 50k motors, hell thats why i got out, between having to fix the car every damn week and being out gunned by at least 150hp on the bigger tracks it just aint any fun anymore! But hey if you ever need help dialing in the suspension and all that for different rtack setups and sizes give me a shout, i always managed to do pretty damn good on the 1/4-3/8 mile tracks, even with a lil 355. i know midway down by me runs a limited late model class, i can't remember the rules of the top of my head, but you shouldnt do to bad with a crate motor. Thats what i'd look for, smaller tracks, and an actual limited class. that should give ya a fair shot. Oh yea, what chassis are you runnin?
  19. Limaland is known as the fastest 1/4 mile dirt oval in the country, they do late models every once in a while, but mainly 360 sprints and ump, i ran a ump modified up there, and the track is great! also its farily close to richmond. Other tracks i have ran at are eldora, which needs no introduction, and a few down this way, muskingum county speedway, and midway speedway, both are somewhat crappy compared to the 2 above, but both have some fantastic racing. There are some great tracks over in indiana, but i cant remember the 2 i ran at, but yea, and danville illinois, decent track, GREAT racing! they have a big shootout up there in may or june. Hope that helps, and slick lookin Evo man. Welcome to CR!
