I actually feel the opposite way. I've got no problem with the remote cameras. But,,, a question out of geniune curiousity: Can we have fewer cops now? At least the dudes running around in Crown Vics and Chargers with radar guns? Mount the cameras in fixed locations and let the junior detectives do the work in the back room. Ask discrete questions by phone or whatever where there is a genuine concern about whether a person is endorsed to opearate the vehicle they appear to have been riding. They can sic the uniforms on the parole jumpers or whatever all day long if they want.Another newb question... why should you be able to register and plate a vehicle if you can't operate it? Seems odd. I can see titling it to a non-operator if they own it - or maybe register it to a company that rents vehicles. If you are legally able to register a vehicle as a non-operator, then the LEOs should not be allowed to use that as a pretext to stop you.
Hell of a bike, IMHO. It's got its warts (fueling glitches, budget suspension, a couple goofy finishing touches) but at this price, that's expected. The only trouble is, once you've spent the cash to fix the issues, you're where you would have been with a new, non-current FZ1.
I'm planning to go to the Indy MotoGP this year for the first time. Any input on where good seats are? Haven't been to the raceway in a loooong time. Other tips are appreciated as well. Thanks!
That's about as good as it gets in central Ohio. I did that stretch myself last weekend on the new CB. @ 2tall, yeah, I'm sure this sounds kind of lame. Whatever. A lot of us here wish the Hocking hills stretched up into the Scioto valley. But they don't. And if you don't have time for a two hour round trip ride into the twisties, this is all we got.
Well, as a devout and practicing hetero - and a card-carrying asshole - I don't remember advocating polygamy. I don't have the financial resources or emotional energy for such a thing.
Price dropped to $4,500. To go much lower would mean I part out the Sargent seat and the hard luggage, which would be a shame. This thing is too nice as is.
It's actually what Abraham Lincoln said too. "There is no grievance that is a fit object of redress by mob law." - Abraham Lincoln, The Perpetuation of Our Political Institutions: Address Before the Young Men's Lyceum of Springfield, Illinois January 27, 1838
Interesting - I'd think these leftover BRC bikes would have had all the beans eaten out of 'em. Even so, I personally rode one of those during my BRC (NH250) and it did a good job for what it was.
