  1. I think my brother has this bag. It looked pretty much indestructible and made his Monster semi-capable of touring.
  2. Thanks. It's the right bike for me now. The viffer's pretty special too. I'll hate to see it go.
  3. Gonna pick up a 2014 CB1100 DLX on Saturday, hopefully. PM sent.
  4. Yeah - but the NSA's too lazy to get out and ride.
  5. Yep. This bike came to me in great shape and I will send it off the same way.
  6. I'll be taking delivery of a new bike soon and as much as I love this machine, there's just not enough time and room to share. Bike has 28,600 miles and is in great shape: - New Michelin Pilot Road 2s front and rear - New brake pads - OEM hard luggage - Sargent seat - R&G frame sliders - TechSpec tank pads - New chain and sprockets - New battery two years ago - battery tender in off-season - Valves checked at 25,000 miles - all in spec Bike has not been tracked or abused but has had a parking lot tip over. Farings were repainted by AttackPainter from this forum. (That's when the frame sliders went on.) Paint is in excellent shape for the bike's age. Has been garage kept since new (myself and previous owner.) I also have: - The stock seat and rear seat cowl - A Competition Werkes fender eliminator kit - A Haynes Service manual - Original factory tool kit Clear title. Bike is ready to go for many more years and miles.
  7. Cool. Take care, man. Don't remember if I've met you - senility is a terrible thing - but I think there are plenty of bikeless on this forum.
  8. If you're going to be where you are for a while - like, say, a decade - this is the way to go. I built my own about 15 years ago the same way - 10x12 with vinyl siding for about $1,300 all in. Today ~$1,600 sounds about right. If your living status is likely to change in a few years, then go vinyl as long as it doesn't look like crap. I'd stay away from the Home Depot/Lowe's kits unless you buy some extra lumber to beef it up.
  9. Thanks, Ryan and Tina, for putting this on. And thanks for the work Ryan. The new tires and pads are awesome and neither are even run in. I'd like to see how the bike feels when I'm not busy trying not to be blown off the road. Great meeting everyone. A great time!

    Jesus had a wife?

Yeah, well, ya know, that's just like, uh, your opinion, man.
  11. I'm sorry, but the squirrel community prefers "special needs" squirrels. Your cooperation would be appreciated.
  12. or at least underappreciated.
  13. Welcome! I'm in Hilliard (actually Norwich Township.)
  14. I'm fairly close. I could bring some hot dogs & buns.
  15. For the people and law enforcement. Just like 29 days should be enough to vote for both Reps and Dems.
  16. Oh yeah? I will retaliate by stealthily taking out his carefully torqued and crush washered drain bolt, and replace it with a tampon, then fill the crankcase with Dollar General 10w-30.
  17. Pay attention, JaSSon. This is some Grade-A American bitching. Please continue, Tonik.
  18. That's a cool streetfighter. But standard =/= streetfighter. I had in mind more the old Sabre with chain drive.
  19. But Mello, you have a VFR! Same as that fared cafe thing only better!
  20. He's makin' vroom! vroom! sounds just like dad.
