  1. I understand. However, what if after the fact you found out the person you shot, was in fact ,someone that had fallen on hard times, needed to feed his family, and simply lacked good judgement. As opposed to a drug addict or say someone simply stealing because they were too lazy to work etc. Would you shoot to kill or maim, assuming you had the skill and opportunity to choose? I had my car broken into and robbed, several times over a period of a week or so. Had I been able to I probably would have tried to beat the crap out of the person but not sure I would shoot even if it was legal.
  2. Yea..the shooter would be screwed in Ohio. It would be hard to prove his life was in danger and he had no other option, given he did not have to stand in front of the vehicle. I don't think someone should be killed for stealing. I do not think the shooter should be prosecuted either.
  3. Wal-mart is the cheapest I could find around here. However, everyone knows that so it is next to impossible to find anything. I just purchased 500 rounds from Cabelas online.
  4. I had a BullMastiff, Brutus, that died from Lymphoma. He went from 135 lbs to 90 in no time. The vet gave me morphine to administer during his last days to control the pain. It was quite traumatic. I feel your pain. My condolences.
  5. I prefer imports over domestic. Though I wouldn't mind owning a good Harley as a second bike.
  6. oh.. and don't forget to check the insurance.. it can take a huge jump ...
  7. That's about what I paid for mine before taxes etc. Not likely they will go any lower. Patience - you have a cool bike now. Sell it outrght. They'll be other leftovers by then given the economy. Lots of 08's even now.
  8. Kudos Jess - For riding track at all - For doing it well - For not letting gender affect your decision to race I have no doubt you ride much better than I do! Keep it up....
  9. Been there done that. Once you get a home there is always something to do.
  10. Is that your head or is your neck blowing a hairy bubble? You're so fat your bathtub has stretch marks. You're so short you have to carry an umbrella to keep the ants from peeing on you. > gee whiz I must be bored out of my head<
  11. Well given the number of miles I guess the frequency of run-ins is not that out of whack. Maybe it is the orange color.
  12. How old are you? I haven't had that many run-ins and I've been riding motorcycles for more than 30 years.
  13. Ha- My wife goes to Costa Rica for 5 weeks every year. That's about the only time I really get to ride. Enjoy It!
  14. So Sayeth the Lord - "Thou Shalt paint, move and perform "honey dos"". Of course maybe that was just my wife..
  15. Admire the ability but not the reckless use of it. You have to have some skills to do stunts... Brains optional
  16. Well.. I'll have to think a bit as it has been some time since my parents bought me one. I'd have to say at the time our neighbors had one and I was getting tired of pushing them around all the time ....
  17. Hmmm... my head is too big. If you didn't need the cash I'd say sit on them until you get a bbike. I bought my helmet, gloves and jacket almost 2 years before my bike believe it or not. I walked around the house with them on to convince my wife either a bike or a psychiatrist. The bike was cheaper.
  18. Most Likely. But they should get some points for reacting to the messages. If they don't, then future threads will be less effective.
  19. Ahhh skip it... we older guys have to stick together. Did I say older? I meant "mature".
  20. Yeah this is no doubt true stuff. My brother would wake up on Ambien and cook, clean etc. and never remember a thing he said or did. Scary stuff. I'll have to get some for my wife
