I got my sargent seat for just a bit over a $100 off of e-bay. You just have to keep watching....

You make a huge assumption when you say humans should be "smart enough". People run red lights in heavy traffic. You can't trust many things to the general population. Because, sadly, they are "generally" stupid.

I'm on my asociations board and we have rules against "Business" vehicles being stored in the streets etc. Though we do not enforce them. This is totally stupid!

Also depends on Demand. When significant changes are made in a model year such as 07 to 08/09 then the value of the "old" model can vary depending on how the new models are perceived. I bought my 07 because of both price and appearance. I wanted the undertail exhaust and preferred the front end of the 07. Though I like the 08's as well. The performance reviews of teh 08/09 models have been VERY favorable though nearly every article I've read says the bike is ugly.

I Have SIDI Vertigo boots. They feel a bit awkward on the bike as I have to tilt my foot more to get the toe under the shifter. I'm sure I could probably adjust the lever but haven't done so yet. I lost some height as well since the soles sre thinner than my hiking shoes. Other than that they feel comfortable. I got mine new off of E-Bay for $150. Retail $300. Someone had bought them and then had second thoughts. I wear Leather Jacket, Gloves, Boots all the time. Recently just picked up a pair of SHIFT Havoc Leather pants.

Anyone have the scoop on why they closed Hooters in Eastgate? Best I can tell by reading blogs is they were closed down for selling to minors though that seems a bit unbelievable. Where am I going to get my fried pickles now?
