Alphabet Soup is almost gone, only CTS and V left.

+1. They put on a hell of a show and as an American road racing fan Road America is one of those tracks you have to see in person if you have never been. Beautiful setting and facility. -
Merge pipe (x-pipe) is the key to making the flat 6 sound like pure sex. I bet that thing sounds wicked in person. Very similar design to what I had Tinman build for my GT3 which was modeled off of the FVD (M&M really) race exhaust they used on their rally cars. I enjoy the music coming out of the back of my car soo much that I installed the factory radio delete on mine If our 997 didn't already come with full Tubi on it I would have something like this on that car too.

You're not feeling the E9x M3 in general..or that particular example? Interested other than lack of torque in what turned you off to the platform? My wife also hated the E92 torque so we wound up with a 997 TT. Maybe you should check those out. -
Saw you driving this down Sawmill the other day. Great looking car esp with the gold wheels on it.

I'm a big fan of these cars. I think you're going to enjoy it quite a bit. -
Broke it trying to remove it so it stayed in the car.

The yellow Lamborghini's all seem to have just about the same ride height as the GMC. The blue one got it right though

What did you pay? You know Mid Ohio has 100 unleaded and 110 leaded on-site for I'm guessing not much more than you paid where you got it. Their 93 usually goes for like $1 more than you can get it in town I get lazy and just use it anyhow most of the time. Don't use the 98 they have it's a spec fuel for some series and has higher than standard oxygen content if not tuned for it you're asking for trouble. -

I think we're all used to you providing a counter point to a lot of things here on CR. I actually enjoy many of the conversations that come out of it. So you've defended the flipper who asks unreasonable money for cars stating this is a business tactic for the car flipper. ...But then throw the buy here pay here lot under the bus???

Can't wait to ride in this beast

Were these 4E extra wide width? They make almost all of their shoes in widths up to 4E. I have wide flat feet and the ability to get dress shoes in 4E to make them comfortable is one of the main reasons I started wearing AE in the first place.

I swear there was a thread on this not too long ago. I'm a huge fan of Allen Edmonds shoes. They have a retail store in the Polaris mall now, or can be found at some department stores. These can be damn near life long dress shoes for you. The leather sole versions can be sent back to have new soles installed and the shoes reconditioned for reasonable money whenever they get to the point that they've worn out. What you get back is a nearly new looking shoe.

I'm not sure if they are still using the same heads for the wheels or not, but IPS used to have the newer style that clamps on the tire not the wheel. These are great and handy however if you have a lowered car with very little fender to tire gap the heads roll up into the fender before they can go through the full motion needed to initially set the machine up for your car. This was an issue on the GT3

+1 We used these guys with great success when we had to replace our basement window at the time of the sale of our old house. No issues or problems with their service at all.

Matt - Free bump for you here buddy. All - PDX is a great, inexpensive way to get alot of track time in one day and NOT alot of traffic to deal with. If I had the time off of work I'd be all over this event it's always a good time

at least some of the 308 and 348 replicas look relatively close. This thing is REALLY REALLY bad

oil discussions are always fun. Why 5-50 vs. a "better" oil in the weight suggested by the manufacturer. I run 5-40 in both my Turbo and E55. Run Motul 8100 in both of them. I run 5-40 even in the GT3 which is subjected to alot of heat during the track use it sees. That car gets Motul 300v.

No...the need it today and must be local criteria is going to limit you to what I posted above.

Is it brand new? is the paint perfect? There was another thread on products for black recently and as I stated there, while I do have a favorite product that I like when I"m 2 inches from the paint, for the most part they're all going to look somewhat similar and the majority of the look is going to come from the finish of the paint (prep and polishing work) under the layer of protection. Local is going to make it even more difficult. Meguiars NXT sealant is ok and can be found almost anywhere. Durability is average at best and will get you maybe 30 days before you need to wax again. Does Buckeye Nissan still sell Zaino products? Z2 is finicky to use on black but would offer great protection. Z5 looks "better" on black, covers up things a little better and subjectively looks a little deeper but gives up in durability some. Expect 3-6 months out of either of those products on black in the heat if summer. Coatings would last you quite a bit of time. Prep is key to longevity if you don't prep correctly you may not get max life out of the coating. Done properly you could get 12-24 months of protection out of most of them. Usually they aren't available locally but we're fortunate that in a pinch we've got Todd (Esoteric) in town and he carries stock of all of the products that he sells over in New Albany. http://www.esotericcarcare.com/coatings-and-sealants/

Touring Car race at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park

I enjoy Tudor / Continental tire series much more than just about anything out there right now.....Although the last 2 years of World Challenge have been really entertaining as well. I just wish that Mid Ohio would get their stuff together and get Tudor on the schedule. When Grand Am and ALMS merged a couple years ago Mid Ohio lost the date and it's a major loss as far as I'm concerned. -
My wife was diagnosed in '09 just after her 31st b-day. The only thing you need to know is not only put a support system in place for her, but also for your father or whomever is going to be the one primarily taking care of her. I'm as grateful for the people that looked after me as I am for the people that helped look after my wife. F' cancer If he's in network we had a really positive experience with Clay's FIL (Dr. Larry Lilly)...he was fantastic to work with.
