flounder - what part do you disagree about? im under the thinking that a gun should never be drawn unless you intend to use it. im not big on drawing and brandishing it as a means to try and deescalate a situation...if im in enough fear for my life that i feel the need to draw my gun, i will be firing it...drawing a gun with no intent to fire is a good way to get yourself shot by the person youre trying to scare not to say your opinion is wrong, and i know you have a thousand times more experience with firearms than i do, i just want to know why you disagree with his statements?

brian - the hit is something im getting more used to...i find myself on this thing now just trying to choke some more power out of it lol....this jetting issue is really holding me back...the air screw was turned out like 5 or 6 turns, so i set it back to 1.5 like it should, and im going to work on it from there...its running too rich....wiped off spark plug and it ran like a raped ape all the way down my street...turned around and on the way back it got back to stuttering....its no big deal, i like tinkering anyways lol...if something runs 100%, i tend to get bored with it (aside from my daily ride that i rely on)

I did - but after fiddling with the light for two weeks trying to find a comfortable way to use it, i cancelled the order....nanovault 300 wasnt even wide enough to carry this light (i have a 200 - but i took it in the store and tried them all out)...its close but not close enough...and being able to lock it up in the truck is a must because i cant carry inside my job...its not much wider than my gun, but its enough that it affects how i would like to carry My MTAC holster is actually for sale too - just didn't post it here since not many people here have HKs....I've found pocket carry to be so much easier and more convenient

insurance wont be much higher on a big cc bike compared to a small cc bike if both are cruisers....cruiser rates tend to be piss cheap anyways....a 01 gsxr 600 was more per month than my 97 1200cc vmax was for an entire year....cruisers are cheap to insure - in fact, a lot of people i know get free insurance on their bikes because they get multipolicy discount on their car for having the bike and the 15% they save is actually more than the bike insurance costs

bought it in lancaster from some kids at an auto shop maybe ill play with the air screw some and if that doesnt work ill start messing with jets...it runs strong for the most part, just at certain points in the rev range it kinda stumbles...probably too rich...i thought it could be me riding it wrong, but i took it out today and gave it a good beating and had the same results.....i read that if you rev it on the stand and its crisp all the way through the rev range that the jets are ok, and on the stand it revs just fine....so if they are wrong, i dont think theyre too wrong
