Dayton man attacked at gas station, shoots attacker.
Steve Butters replied to ross's topic in Dumpster
if you read the original thread and see the screenshots of the second BGs facebook - he acts so tough and stuff...like hes going to get revenge and how him and his brother arent to be messed with, and how the victim was a pussy for pulling a gun etc....what a piece of shit -
Dayton man attacked at gas station, shoots attacker.

he left and called them - they told him they already responded and to come back to the scene and put his hands out the window of his car...they took him to the station to question him and released him 3 hours later leaving and calling 911 is the right thing to do - especially since there was still one attacker that was not incapacitated. who knows if there coulda been more people lurking ready to attack him also, the one guy kinda came outta nowhere, there could just as easily of been another person waiitng to assist too...hell, the guy who got shot could have pulled a gun and shot back anything could happen....leaving the scene and calling the police was the right decision -
chipotle is innocent, sir

forgot we were talking about a drz with dry sump...not used to messing with bike engines....i dont understand why wheelies would affect the oiling system so much on a dry sump? is the pickup mounted in the front?
-
front sump?
-
i doubt they will...especially if people were ordering 4 at a time...goodluck though! would be pretty sweet.....gonna see everybody at the track wearing ducati leathers
-
and i posted 1 min after you did....so you must have got the last one cheap good timing
-
it just changed to 1577 lol
-
nobody said you didnt drive a truck - i just said youre obviously not an expert on how octane works because you dont even have a grasp on the basic concepts....im not claiming to be an expert either, but i at least know the basics of how it works (not talking about the way its classified etc, or the difference between dayton and columbus - strictly commenting on your posts about getting more power out of premium and how it is "worth it" because it will make stuff perform and run better....it wont) way to dodge the discussion though, go buy more cam2 to make your bike faster....at least now we know why its faster than a s1000rr - it has cheater gas in it
-
to each their own....KBB doesnt mean anything in the real world though...find me another car in that condition with less than 15k miles for 2k, of any year and any make, and i will eat my words....if i was in the market for a new car and had a 4k budget, i wouldnt hesitate to spend it on that one - regardless of bluebook value....have you seen what kind of pieces of shit are out there for 2k? lol
-
its worth more than 2k...but definitely not worth 10....i would think 4k would be a good price for it considering the mileage

^ agreed with sv650

i would agree what youre doing is the right thing....like i mentioned, i wasnt sure exactly what your owners manual said as far as octane rating went for your specific bike since ive never owned one... if it reccomends 91 i would probably pump premium aswell ...i was speaking in kind of broad terms....i do believe 91 is the max you can get in some states, not everybody has 93 and 94 on pump, so when a manual calls for "premium" - as long as you pump 91 you will be ok.....i always thought it was hilarious seeing 87 91 93 94 on the same pump, with a 10 cent difference...no stock car needs more than 91, so getting 93 is pointless, let alone going up one more octane to 94...30 cent difference at 20mpg and 15k miles driven per year would be $225 wasted for people that put 94 into a stock car that calls for 87....that even will lure in people with luxury calls calling for "premium"...especially jumping up to 94 instead of 93...gas companies love the uninformed public....only thing i ever had to run 93 in was my mustang with a custom tune and a ton of timing, and obviously once you start modding the factory octane rating may not apply anymore, but i would say probably 95% of cars on the road have stock tunes and arent on fire-breathing performance tunes

(second link goes into a ton of detail) i only found that first article as a quick way to explain stuff since i had to leave and pick up my girl....i already knew how the stuff works, and im not a professional fuel driver. just because i sort boxes at ups, doesnt mean i know how cardboard is manufactured and what type of materials are better to make boxes with than others i understand your point of this thread informing us that 87 here isnt 87 in dayton - but my original post was about bad information - and theres plenty in here my intentions werent to "slam you" or personally attack you or however you took it etc....i just get so tired of hearing people say that they run premium in their cars/bikes that call for 87 because it gives more power, burns cleaner, burns cooler, whatever else..... it just doesnt make any sense....its a big pet peeve of mine....friend of mine fills his stock mustang with 93 octane on every fill up and i tried explaining it to him and he doesnt get it either lol....if you wanna throw money away thats fine, but please dont claim a bunch of false improvements and convince other people to do the same

i put a tank of 120 octane race gas in my fiances sebring today.... all the extra octane density made it do 1.85$ and it still got 73.2 mpg!!! glad ive been enlightened that octane = power....ill never switch back to loser gas like 87 or 94
-
best post in this thread exactly....it ran fine on cheap gas - which is probably what the manual calls for anyways....not sure on your specific bike - but its worth looking into....if your bike runs fine on 87, no reason to switch snake oil ok i have to leave now...i can post more later
-
so much bad info in this thread....not even going to touch this one, i dont have enough time to type out everything i would have to say i dont think most people actually grasp what different octanes are for
-
full of shit. all he ever did was complain and cry about running that site...surprised he hasnt GIVEN it away
-
nope...theyre friends of a friend (who i dont talk to anymore either)...i dont associate with any of the MJ people anymore, but i did when i was in HS...oh man the stories i could tell about that place....i would personally never shop there they do know how to party though ..... we hit up indy supercross races a couple years back and had a massive motel 6 party.... few pro riders swung by acting crazy, rental car almost got driven into the motel room, a shit ton of alcohol was consumed, and many titties were seen
-
that doesnt surprise me one bit i know some people from there and i know some of that shady stuff that goes on there....you will never catch me there
-
