sell ya a KTM 50 for $75...used to run, then it got parked and now it wont start...its sat in my girls dads garage for years untouched...no idea what year it is, late 90s maybe, early 2000s...somewhere around there...no title but its not stolen, just been passed around the family so much nobody knows where the title is - bought new by my girls uncle

lol at you people who think your rates suck....i was paying $250 a year on my 1997 cruiser for liability only, didnt even have comp on it....for full coverage, it was just shy of $900 a year even a quote on a early 2000s z1k, was $600 for liability a year, no comp or collision

guys on grizzly site say the marks are definitely from piston slap, which would be the noise....but that doesnt explain the metal shaving...

rob i have no way to get it over to you, and i dont wanna pull the engine if i dont have to... i just dont understand...the chunks in the pics are too thick to be the rod bearing, because the rod is still tight...if i was missing a bearing that thick, it would be sloppy as hell....it has to be something on the clutch side im thinking

i was told you can burn regular diesel in a kerosene heater...would be worth looking into maybe...atleast diesel smells good

it needs a new piston for sure - and the marks in the cylinder are completely smooth, you cant feel them at all, so im thinking a simple hone will be enough to clean it up so my next step should be to tear into the other side now?
