When I said slow, I strictly meant acceleration. It handles like a dream and I can keep up on it on moderate group rides no problem.. I thoroughly enjoy the bike. Just looking for a second toy with some more straight line potential. I won't be selling the VFR. My budget is 6-8k.. I could spend more, possibly, but would prefer not to... Here's the bike I'm looking at phoenix.craigslist.org/evl/mcd/3870319103.html
-
Yep. Hence why I want something more nimble to play on... I already own a heavy bike
-
Similar in what sense? The VFR is fairly slow, corners pretty well, comfortable to commute on and ride 2 up.... The other is just fast and handles well... I wouldn't use it for 2 up, and it wouldn't be a commuting bike... What bike would you suggest? I don't want an enduro or something silly, and when you get into the city people try to run you over constantly so I definitely want something nimble.... Basically, if the VFR was 100 lbs lighter, and had 100hp more, I wouldn't be looking for a second bike... The only bikes that fit my criteria are liter bikes, the VFR does everything else I would need it to
-
Shawn that bike is awesome.. Little too far for me though lol Also, there definitely is a difference... I want something that goes faster in a straight line when I'm in the mood for it.. Just don't want the bulk of a busa or zx14..the VFR is great, and I'm sure I don't ride it to its potential on twisty roads, but I want something I can accelerate a little faster on when I'm in the mood for it... I ride a long 4 lane highway for 16 miles every morning through nothing but desert before I even get to the phoenix metro area, and then another 15 miles highway to my job... Gotta find some way to make it more entertaining
-
Ok I'm thinking about picking up a second bike.. I want something with a little more power for shorter rides or strictly spirited rides... I find myself slabbing 60 miles per day to commute, so I probably won't be getting rid of the VFR anytime soon... Just looking for something to ride on days I'm feeling a little more aggressive or want to change it up... I will probably use it to commute a couple days per week and take weekend short distance trips on it... The gf is going to learn to ride, and she loves the VFR, so if we both go riding it'll be nice having two bikes... I won't start her out on the VFR, but I think she eventually will be fine riding it Looking for suggestions.... I'm considering a cbr1000r and an 08+ cbr1000rr I've wanted an R1 for years, but the current Honda lineup has really grown on me... How do these two stack up against crossplane Yamaha bikes? Speaking about comfort and rideability, not necessarily performance since I'm sure any of the 4 will be pretty similar

Forgot to unset parking brake on my mustang before doing rear pads.. Thought caliper was seized on and hammered it off... Only to realize I had the brake set... Had to buy new caliper after... /facepalm -

wow....i would have stomped his fucking head into the ground when he was doin the worm ....dude got some bad lsd or something -
depends on the dog....some breeds of dog are naturally dog aggressive. sometimes you get some that are more mellow than others, sometimes not. you can train a DA dog to behave around other dogs, but you will never truly take that agression away. A dog with a bite as strong as a shepard, could be a real risk if forced into those situations. If/When he loses his edge and snaps at another dog, it could turn into a fight and leave the dogs seriously injured. Forcing DA dogs to behave with other dogs just takes away any warning sign you might of had to an upcoming fight. But you wont ever fully "train" the aggression out of the dog....you cant undo evolution and breeding with training
-
I was excited about this until you posted she's dog aggressive... I would have had you bring her back to az with you... My dog isn't DA but he won't be bullied by another dog either and would probably kill her... Hope you find her a good home, I've been wanting a guardian breed... This one just won't work for me

My max did this really bad, even if you took one hand off... Steering head nut needed tightened up and problem solved

completely different type of riding and bike. a 450 sumo is quite a handful. depending what kind of "sportbike" he is looking for, they can definietly be more manageable (sv650, ninja 650r, fz6, etc) -
These guys already hit the nail on the head. Check out the closeout section of pony and you will find plenty of boots for a good deal. There's some things that you just dont buy used....its a hygiene issue. Footwear, underwear, and headwear are certainly in that category in my book. depending what youre looking for (casual type boot, sport boot, etc) you can find good deals on the stuff sport http://www.ironpony.com/ironponydirect/product-info.asp/ImageName/AYC11-SMX5-BOOT-BLUE.jpg/Brand/ALPINESTARS%20AYC/Class2/Footwear/Class3/Street%20Boots-Mens/Class1/STREET%20PRODUCTS/KitKey2/S-MX%205%20BOOT casual http://www.ironpony.com/ironponydirect/product-info.asp/ImageName/VEGA-PLATOON-BOOT-BLACK.jpg/Brand/VEGA/Class2/Footwear/Class3/Street%20Boots-Mens/Class1/STREET%20PRODUCTS/KitKey2/PLATOON%20BOOT you can even find regular retail boots that are nice for just over a $100 something like these http://www.ironpony.com/ironponydirect/product-info.asp/ImageName/ICON-SUPERDUTY4-BOOT-BLACK.jpg/Brand/Icon/Class2/Footwear/Class3/Street%20Boots-Mens/Class1/STREET%20PRODUCTS/KitKey2/SUPER%20DUTY%204%20BOOT or http://www.ironpony.com/ironponydirect/product-info.asp/ImageName/VEGA-09-MERGE-BOOT.jpg/Brand/VEGA/Class2/Footwear/Class3/Street%20Boots-Mens/Class1/STREET%20PRODUCTS/KitKey2/MERGE%20BOOT

On mobile in full screen, my keyboard is weird.. No suggested words or spell check etc.. The keyboard app I use makes accuracy of typing a null point.. So typing without it is a pain now.. But when switching to mobile version it works fine.. Works fine on every other site too... Any way to fix it? Here's what I mean -
