  1. I'd hit it. This is what the VFR1200 should have been, and it costs $5k less.

    Snowblowers

The thing to watch out for is who actually making the motors. Most snowblowers made over the last 30 years had Tecumseh Snow King engines. Properly maintained, they last forever. Well, Tecumseh went bankrupt 2 or 3 years ago and stopped making motors. Briggs stepped in with a new line of snow blower motors ands they're OK. But the majority of snow blower motors are now coming from China. They all seem to be copies of either Kohler or Honda engines. Some are good some are not. Most companies seem to want to hide the fact that the motors are Chinese. For example, many Craftsman blowers now have a 'Craftsman' engine, which is just a Chinese motor with Craftman badges. Same for Cub Cadet and many others.

Husqvarna, Ariens, & Toro are good for the $$. I have a Husq.
  4. Will 115 lb riders want 700 lb hogs?
  5. I rode today. Bump, before it gets winterized.
  6. Southpark kikcks ass.
  7. It has optional hardbags. This is going to kill the VFR1200 on the sales floor. The Kaw weighs 90 lbs less, and costs $5k less (even without that $2,500 dual clutch gizmo).
  8. The styling is a bit odd, but I ride a Buell so go figure.
  9. Ugly duckling. But it's probably more fun to ride than a H-D. I'd pick a Monster over that every time.
  10. From what the commentators say...it changes the weight distribution on the inside of the bike. Apparantly it creates some advantage over sticking out the knee.
  11. If it 's good enough for the Bandit...
  12. I want http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Pontiac-Trans-Am-1979-ORIG-BANDIT-Y-84-TRANS-AM-6-6-Auto-WS6-T-TOP-_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQhashZitem5195d554a8QQitemZ350406137000QQptZUSQ5fCarsQ5fTrucks
  13. I would just fix the Hawk and skip the mods. Increasing to 700cc will make it less reliable. Plus it will be harder to sell with a heavily modded engine-not an issue if you never plan on getting rid of it. Hawks are somewhat rare classic sporty bikes. It'll be easy to sell if you've out grown it. Plenty of more powerful machines can be had on the cheap these days.
  14. In terms of styling, the new CBR250R is a mini-VFR1200F and works surprisingly well. It’s compact, thoroughly modern, neat and unfussy – we think it’s not bad at all. The engine is a fuel-injected, liquid-cooled, 249cc single-cylinder unit with a four-valve DOHC cylinder head. It produces 26 horsepower and 23Nm of torque, which is not too bad at all. --------not clear if this is at the crank or at the rear wheel.
  15. Someday, I'm gonna rock one of these:
  16. The little Ceeber is nice looking, but why a 250cc single? My gf's Nighthawk 250 (twin) tops out around 75-80 mph. I wonder what the top speed will be? 65-70?
  17. Jbot, you need to be at the Dec. 2nd game at the Q holding this sign: Shit, I'll make the sign for you.
  18. lbj, wade, and RuPaul all need to control ball to initiate offense. That's how all 3 of them have played since high school. Their styles don't really compliment each other. Not saying it can't work, but it didn't work against Boston.
  19. Not impressed. The Heat will get better than they played tonight, but they have some obvious flaws. eff lbj
