  1. Fast is slow with me in front, lol.
  2. If you are coming from Canton, Lodi is quite a backtrack for you. You may want to wait for us at the Speedway gas station in Millersburg & join up as we pass. The lead bike in our group will be a yellow & black cbr.
  3. No other damage. I was suprised but the fork seals are still intact.
  4. I'm still in. Look for me on the yellow CBR though. I had a dickhead in an F150 run me into the mother of all chuckholes the other night, bending the front rim on the new Ninja. I won't have the wheel back from trueing/ refinish in time to ride it next weekend.
  5. I prefer to buy my motorcycle gear at Home Depot. In the past week I bought a luggage rack (some assembly required, $11), & deerskin gloves ($20).
  6. I bought some oil & a filter there. Most of their inventory seemed to be very low quality "Bilt" brand products. I saw some Alpiine Stars jackets that appeared to be cheap knockoffs. Let the buyer beware. I hope their Mobil 1 & K&N are genuine.genuine,
  7. WV 16 S, 60W, 119 SW (West Virginia AutoBahn), 25E S, 411 W, 441S, 321 W, 129 S. Have a great ride.
  8. It's fun to ride to the gap if you stay off the slab. I've ridden my cbr there via WV,VA,KY from Cleveland in a day & I'm no youngster. Don't let the naysayers get to you. I wish I had the vacation time, I'd ride down with you.
  9. Pillions are nothing but trouble. Do what I did & get her her own ride. She'll have a lot more fun.
  10. Healtech GiPro if you don't want a delay on the readout after gear changes.
  11. Anyone that wants to ride at Mach Retard is welcome to pass me & ride ahead. The pace last year was pretty reserved, slowing to 70 in the straights to keep the group together. Even so, we had a guy crash & break his collarbone. Pace this year should be similar.
  12. You worry too much. The level of organization you seek is really unnecessary & may end up hindering more than helping. Specifically 1 yes & 3 maybes right now. There may be more as I'm going to my Mild Hogs motorcycle club meeting tomorrow & am extending an invitation. This may bring some for the large touring bike group.
  13. I will be bringing between 1 & 4 that are not on the board. They will be in the medium & slow groups.
  14. I'll lead the fast group if nobody else steps up to the plate. Keep in mind I'll be on a barely broken in new bike & this is only the 2nd time I've been on most of these roads.
  15. This would be way better if the lad was on a sportbike, in a leather onesie, negotiating a twisty road.
  16. Likewise. See you gentlemen in May.
  17. If you go on a self guided tour in the UK or Europe make sure you have fully functional gps. Roads there are not on the grid system to which we are accustomed. Also make sure you are totally comfortable with roundabouts & riding on the left hand side of the road if visiting the UK. This thread makes me wish I had more vacation. Have fun.
  18. Nope. I've seen how you ride.
  19. I need some more room in my garage so I am selling. Purchased new in March of 2012 & used for commuting. 8975 miles. Never dropped. Oil changed at 600,4000, & 8000 miles with full synthetic. Garage kept. 65 mpg. Full disclosure: Worst thing about the bike is a scuffed & repainted muffler heat shield (from close proximity parking). Bone stock. $1,900
