Ok, so another thread brought this up. Now I'm interested. Ohio law states: Eye Protection - Required by law unless equipped with windscreen. So does that mean if your helmet is equipped with a windscreen aka visor, or that your bike have a windscreen. I don't care either way as I wear a full face but I was curious.

All of those temp restrictions go away when you get your endorsement. The only rule left is that you must wear your helmet at all times during the first year. You are allowed to ride at night, on highways, with passengers, etc. That's a law? As for the novice thing, that fucked with a Michigan Sheriff up here when we got pulled over too. He started handing back licenses and looks at me and goes, "Son, do you even HAVE your endorsement?" So I had to point out to him the whole novice notice on the card and where the real endorsement was.

Local guy daily drives his 3rd gen Trans-Am. It's a built 383 stroker. Lots of goodies. Set up for 300 shot of nitrous with a built TH400, full cage, etc. It goes 10 flat on the 100 shot. Don't tell me you can't daily a super fast car. If that Vette had more than two gears it could be easily daily'd.

Even on T&T nights. Anyone who wishes to race on 2 Wheel Tuesdays must have the following safety equipment and certifications: All Riders must have: Pants (Leather Pants Recommended) DOT approved or Snell Helmet Lanyard kill switches ONLY! Boots that cover the ankle Gloves Any Riders going over 120 mph in the 1/4 Mile must have FULL LEATHER SUIT! Any riders going faster than 9.99 in the 1/4 mile must have licensing from an appropriate sanctioning body. (NHRA, IHRA, Prostar)
