  1. My bad, thought it went for 06-08. My buddy's 06 is like that.
  2. You asked. Natedogg gave you the most informative and well thought out post in the thread in post #3. I agree with pretty much everything he said. As soon as you basically called him an idiot though, by saying that you can't trust people on the Internet, well you lost that valuable info. Don't come in asking for advice and then offend the people giving you advice, especially when you obviously don't understand the basic mechanics.
  3. This. It's also a known fact that Yamaha lied about the actual redline of the bike being 17,500 rpm. The tach is a little too optimistic. Now refer to my signature.
  4. Real gains will only be had by a real exhaust. You want power? Build yourself a race airbox (preferably out of pre-preg autoclaved carbon fiber for weight), purchase a full exhaust in some exotic metal (titanium, unobtanium, etc), purchase a Bazzaz tuning suite if it's available, and pay for a shit-ton of dyno time and someone who knows what the hell they are doing to tune it. It's a 600cc motor that revs to 16,500. It literally can't spin any higher to make power. The only thing you can do is make it get air into and out of the cylinders as efficiently as possible. Even then, I'm guessing 10-12 horsepower more at the wheel for like $3,500. You're better off spending that money on a 520 chain, gearing down, and purchasing a set of Marchesini forged aluminum wheels. If you don't understand why I just listed those items. GTFO.
  5. Took me 2 fucking minutes on Google...
  6. Your R6 is slow, gay, and will never be modifiable. EXUP is God to the exhaust world. There is a hand jacking off a dog in your avatar. GTFO.
  7. Remove tank. Check for any airbox leaks. Also, there's a door on the underside of the intake box that if it came loose might make that noise.
  8. Huh? Regular old propylene glycol works just fine in a bike. Stop drinking dealer Kool-Aid.
  9. Just do sprockets and a chain for now. That'll give you the grunt you're looking for. R6 forums will definitely have a bunch of people sharing their "ideal" setups. For the Aprilia guys it's 16/44 which equates to +2 in the rear. Effectively gears it down and gives it more grunt. If you absolutely positively have to have a K&N, just get the regular K&N panel filter. Don't expect to get a whole lot of gains from that motor, it seems to be on the ragged edge of performance as is.
  10. It's toast. I'll give you $20 for it and arrange shipping. Have title ready.
  11. RSV4 is baller. Using a Gameboy cartridge as a tech tool? Ummm, I dunno, but it's kinda funny.
  12. ...Gameboy tech diagnostic tool cartridge for DiTech (I believe that's the direct injection two stroke) scooters.
  13. Oh my......don't know what to say. So sorry for your loss chick.
  14. Probably sometime next week. Like Thursday maybe. I'm to the point where I really only like riding backroads. Less traffic, heat, and mess to worry about.
  15. Welcome. I'm Quiksilver on SRD. Hit me up if you want to ride sometime, I'm just down the road.

  17. Come lecture me about hot when the bike you're riding runs 240* in traffic... It's perfectly fine to just shut it down hot. The motor isn't going to create any more heat because there's no more controlled explosions inside that aluminum case. The coolant will absorb some of the heat and then over a period of time the whole thing will start to cool. Don't worry.
  18. Sex. On. Wheels. I heart MV Agusta. Sitting on them is like sitting in a Ferrari, there's just something special about it. And the build quality is gorgeous, hand welded frame spars, hand polished pieces, intricate design. It's all beautiful.
  19. Bahahahahahahahaha, this thread gets better with every post.
