  1. Something like this never popped up when I was looking for Daytona 955s...harumph.
  2. Lol, you guys always get in trouble whenever I'm not around. Do I need to get out there and play babysitter again? j/k
  3. My God! It really is like someone chopping an LSx in half!!!!

  6. Note to self: Don't run over back wheel of bike in front of you. lol http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hM9lX84xWVc&feature
  7. Really? Needs valves clearanced so early? Mine is at 36,000 miles and the valves are still in spec!
  8. Simple really. Electrical: $2 wiring mod New battery New rectifier Mechanical: Release bearing on slave is seized. New slave or just disassemble and clean. The Futuras may not be Japanese reliable, but just like any other Ape they will be just fine as long as you put in the small amount of time and effort to sort out the small gremlins. I plan on disassembling and lubing my slave cylinder myself soon. Now, define "off-load", what kinda price are we talking about, year, mileage, color?
  9. I want to sell the Mille for that.

    You all suck

In in Georgia. It's perfect. If only I had the Mille to tear up the north Georgia mountains.
  11. If you have time to wait, I'd search online for a 5mm thread NPT nipple part. They're probably like 5 for $2 or something somewhere.
  12. The CBRs have a small 5mm bolt on each intake runner. You remove the bolts and put in the 5mm long headed ports which have hose nipples on them.
  13. And no, it's not a vid about recycling... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hE-ZmwATS8E

    Gah, I want!

If I knew I could get that out of the Ape and have it sold right now, I'd probably be on my way to pick that bad boy up tomorrow.
  15. It'd be interesting to ride once. I'd definitely ride it though.

    Ducati?

Yeah, no shit. I'm 6'1" with 34" inseam and the SXV is still tall for me.

    Hot Bikes

The problem with pretty much any twin is that rear cylinder under the seat. It's always gonna be hot in that configuration. My Aprilia is unbearable around town or while riding slow but I don't notice it once moving. The 1098 I rode had my butt toasty on a 70° Michigan evening in less than 15 minutes. It is noticeable. That bike was a no compromise machine anyways, hated anything except going fast. Lol It was nice riding with you too.
  19. I'm about to drop PNC. Enough said.
