  1. I knew there was a difference in the lens, didn't know there was a difference in depth. Makes sense though, repositions the bulb in the housing. Which projector did you use on nurse's headlight? Did it use a D2S/D2R bulb? The reason I was looking at the Duc's projector is they are stupid cheap (read:$40) and I can use an H7 bulb with the same HID ballast I have now. I guess packaging is the only issue.
  2. ^ That too. That's why I always say low beam only. I turned my high beams on tonight and lost some vision. I have no need for high beams, one low beam HID is great! I'm considering picking up a Ducati 999 projector lens to retrofit into the Aprilia's headlight assembly to control the light more. I don't like the upward lens flares I'm getting. Any input shitty?
  3. Dunno really. You definitely won't have a high beam anymore. Not that you'll need one, lol. I'm sorry, I have no experience with the 35w kits so I can't comment on their output, look, draw, etc.
  4. It was too dark out. ????
  5. On 675 S near the Indian Ripple exit around 8:40 pm according to my bike's clock. I saw the unmistakable 14 headlights and wondered if it was you, there aren't many of those things around here.

    Want.

OMG look at all that salt. Eff that, my bike would rust away before the end of the mile.
  7. Everywhere. Duh. And it's not about strong acceleration to 90 or 100, it's about insane acceleration to 120/150.
  8. Me too. The sound of a big-twin engine braking is godly.
  9. I made it to :26 seconds. I don't like listening to mentally handicapped people.
  10. Girl coming into town at a very inopportune time. Won't be making it.
  11. Find a Yamaha, Kawasaki, Suzuki, Honda, Ducati, and Aprilia dealership and start sitting on all the bikes that look interesting to you. It's the only way to get a good handle on what your wants and needs are and what fits you.

    rLiNK...

I looked at it too. But at $700 for the integration, fuck it.
  13. After riding a 1098, I'd almost have to agree with IP. Almost. The 1098 has a really short wheelbase, enough torque to pull tree stumps (read: 95 ft-lb), and the top end rush of the big bores. It really is a handful on the street. Even in 3rd gear, that bike was trying to lift the wheel and toss my ass off at the same time. Was it amazing? Yes, but it's definitely a handful. I've never ridden a 14, but I'd think it would be a way more controllable surge of power given the extra weight and longer wheelbase of said bike. That being said, I'd still own one in a heartbeat.
  14. These big twins really beat on chains eh?
  15. Same damn thing. If I posted it as a ZZR1400 people would be like,
  16. blah blah blah I choked on my chance blah blah blah Just yankin' your chain.
