  1. you know for a fact it doesn't take much of a cut to kill or seriously hinder someone, just like the saying goes "guns don't kill people" , knives don't either... and usually the unskilled can't use knives effectively enough to kill.. and the law prevents people from carrying knives that could kill with one strike.. I guarantee a pocket knife in unskilled hands is about as useless as a wet napkin..

All it takes is someone with a little pocket knife to sneak up behind someone and get them in the neck. And I hope you realize I was being sarcastic earlier. :D

According to my kids school a metal butter knife is a dangerous weapon.

Introducing the stab proof knife. Good, clean fun for everyone.

  2. I've already sold back my old 2000 Taco with a rusty frame!! I got a lot of cash for it!!

Toyota will only buy back the 95-00 trucks with rusty frames that fail the inspection! 2001 to 2005 they will just replace the frame, or do like they did with mine and spray rust proofing to the inside and outside of the frame! They only do that to the frames that pass the insp. If for some reason it does rust, then you can take it back in to get sprayed again or try and push for a new frame.

Ah, I didn't know it was only up to '00. Cool that you traded your other one in. I might have to start looking for Tacomas for sale. :D

  3. if i personally thought someone was guilty, but the prosecutor did not make their case, then would vote not guilty.

its not my job to make a decision on my personal feelings, its my job to make a decision based on the evidence presented in a trial.

This. But too many people would say "oh well he's got a criminal record so he had to of done it this time too."

  4. Midget Todd shooting tanerite? That's not to far from frazeyburg is it lol...

That would have to be A LOT of tannerite!

Might of been Todds flybye on his cbr down 16

Negative ghostrider, the pattern is full.

I was smoking while in the tanker again...

    Wouldn't surprise me.

    aliens, definitely aliens taking off

Being Newark I wouldn't be surprised.

    Newark????

Must have been a bar stool racer breaking the sound barrier!

  5. I don't care about them signs' date=' I carry my knife just about everywhere,

I have one I carry at work and a different one when not at work. It's always

clipped in my front right pocket, exposed at the top.

I don't carry a gun (yet) so my little pocket knife is going with me.[/quote']

Have you been properly trained on how to handle that knife? You could kill someone over something stupid because you didn't know how to properly use it. That's all we need it a bunch of people with knives trying to save the day and someone innocent gets hurt. :nono:

  6. This is great news man. I'm glad things are looking a little better for you and hope this works out for awhile.

Not to rain on your parade but I suggest you really spend time with her now since you have considered putting her down. You're perspective and realization of some things that will/could be down the road should help you to have a better relationship with your buddy.

  7. There's a few of these kinds of links on here. Someone needs to grab them all and put them into one thread, maybe sticky it. If I'm up late again this weekend maybe I'll do that.

  8. I have a co-worker that loves to give me 'advice' on everything. I just listen and nod... and pretend I don't know anything about what he's going on about. Anything from welding' date=' to wrenching.... I just pretend I have no clue and have gained enlightenment from listening to his nonsensical ramblings.[/quote']

That's what we do to you here. :D

  9. All depends on who it is and what it's about, like others have said. Sometimes I might approach it like "Are you sure it's just an S-10 with a different body? I thought it was completely different?" Then I'm not so much calling them wrong as I am just asking for further clarification myself. Tact.

  10. Yeah go hang out with all those others in ranges, and sit/visit a couple of classes and range sessions with people going through their courses, most are down right frightening that I've seen. Even my wife after we got through with our course thought it was nuts that most of the people there would be carrying. My Dad's was the same way when I went and visited his to shoot with him after they were done at another place.

Maybe at first CHL carriers were like you, I and a good number of people on here. In general though it looks like more and more are just regular people, some of which haven't even owned a weapon before taking their 12 hours and going through the joke it takes to qualify shooting.

I'm going with my dad and sitting in on the CHL course on the 20th. We'll see how it goes with a bunch of ORDN folks.

And the points you bring up are why groups such as Ohioans for Concealed Carry and Buckeye Firearms are working so hard. This is why so many people who do carry regularly try to help educate those that don't carry or the new people.

I really have more to say but I gotta get off lunch and back to work.

  11. I wish I was a billy badass like everyone on here with guns and chuck norris skills. Alas, I will stick to safer bars, I have this skill called common sense and I find another place if it looks a bit seedy

Silly shitty, Chuck Norris doesn't need guns.

I don't feel the need to go out to bars anymore. I also wouldn't put myself into a bad situation if I didn't have to, like you said.
