  1. Then I'd do on the side, as far up as you can get. If the fire is burning next to the safe, the coldest part will be as high up as you can get. If something burning drops on top of it (and continues to burn), that's automatically going to be a hotspot.

I would think the very bottom would be best since heat rises?

If I put it under my safe I don't think will sit level.

    True.

  2. Max I never thought about the fire stop. Good idea.

Chevy itsflat bottom so I don't think I can bring it out the bottom.

You could probably still run the cord under it. I was just wondering if one over the other would do a better job of keeping the integrity of the safe. I dunno though.

  3. I retract my statement about passing on the right. I never knew that was legal' date=' so.. thanks. I learned something today.

Regarding Chev's post about turning left on red... that's for one-way streets. I don't want to read a thread of some douchebag bitching because he was cited for turning left on red on a 4-lane highway.

Lastly.. I still think you put drivers at risk, Dave. It was funny, because nobody got hurt, but someone could have. However, nobody is innocent of stupidity behind the wheel.. especially me.[/quote']

I made sure I quoted the part about it being on one way streets. :D

  4. You can turn left on red too. Since we are discussing motor vehicle laws and all.

    (3) Unless a sign is in place prohibiting a left turn as provided in division ©(5) of this section, vehicular traffic, streetcars, and trackless trolleys facing a steady red signal on a one-way street that intersects another one-way street on which traffic moves to the left may cautiously enter the intersection to make a left turn into the one-way street after stopping as required by division ©(1) of this section, and yielding the right-of-way to pedestrians lawfully within an adjacent crosswalk and to other traffic lawfully using the intersection.
