Ninja 250 > all others. (Especially Busas.) I love my Ninja 250, but I really need something bigger, so that I don't feel like I'm killing it for commuting. 10-11k on the freeway for 10 or so miles HAS to be hard on it, and since the Hon-duh has problems, and caging it really isn't an option right now, I have no choice.

I rode today, and hit no rain. It did rain throughout the day some, but not when I was riding!

8-84 is the production date, so that's 27 years old. Not going so strong at the moment though. The other one is just a pup at 7.

Old school, yes. These days, vehicles have knock sensors that can detect detonation before you can hear it, and adjust for it. So, what's good for California should be good enough for the rest of us? As far as I know, the fuel does still change between seasons. Ironically, season changes are when those of us on the auto repair industry see more failed fuel pumps. Interesting.
