Next year, Hartford Fair. First week of August. The shop where I work has been in the derby every year that I've been here, until this year. Lack of interest. I'll try to remember to bring this back up in July.

The majority of good riders (and many of the not so good) will say that crossing the line, especially on the outside of a curve, or a blind curve, is the same as crashing in their mind. That's how I ride as well, and I have managed to keep my novice self on the correct side of the line.

My Hon-duh doesn't like to start in the cold, but once it does it runs better than ever! It likes that cold air, after it starts! Yesterday, I thought I was going to run the battery down trying to get it going!

Sounds like you might be needing to replace that battery next season, if it only lasted a couple weeks of sitting!

Unlimited mileage warranty? Kind of like the lifetime warranty they were offering a few years ago, I'm guessing. The opposite situation happened to a friend. He took his van in just before the warranty was up for oil consumption. A quart in less than 1000 miles is a bit excessive. I'm not sure what they did to fix it, but when he went to pick it up, before he could leave with it they made him sign something saying that he wouldn't bring it back for anything. Wow, just wow!
