Damn, I've never had that kind of issue dealing with Anker!  I thought they were much better than that, sending me free stuff, and a free replacement to ease a bad review.  This was on $40 earbuds, though.

@Steve Butters  One thing I wonder about with having one of these on the bike in the AZ heat would be how would the Li-Ion batteries hold up to the heat? I wouldn't want to see it burn your ass (literally) if it doesn't like the heat.

  3. I'm not sure what the break-in recommendations are for a new motorcycle, but with cars there is none.  The technology and tolerances we have today have made break-in obsolete.  I'd bet new bikes that have a break-in period do so just a a CYA strategy for the manufacturer.

As for the engine in the OP, it sounds as though someone built the engine for them, so I would get with the builder and do what they recommend, since they will be the one that has to stand behind their work.

There’s a tournament every Friday night at the Columbus square bowling Palace.

Might go and watch some time. Don’t think I’m good enough for competition.

He plays there.  I didn't know it was a weekly thing though.

  5. Someone needs a visit from Jackson Galaxy...  My wife watches that show "My Cat From Hell" all the time, and that dude could easily fix the problem.

Seriously though, animals all seem to be intimidated by smaller versions of other animals.  A new kitten is sometimes an issue for an adult cat, full-sized horses are scared of miniature horses, cats are scared of small humans.

 I appreciate it but I’m good.  It would just act all stuck up to the cheap tools in my box.

10mm is just the one every one seems to lose all the time.

Hell, I FOUND 2 on vehicles I was working on a couple weeks ago, both in the same day!    10mm makes me too much money to lose one!  LOL

LBTS, however, with lifetime warranty can be exchanged for brand new! GLWS.

You will never regret buying quality tools, if you use them very much.

Good lord I hate GM products. Did an oil change on the Acadia. Less space to work than my Ford Focus. Oil filter is mounted in a spot you’re guaranteed a 2nd degree burn from the from exhaust manifold and then it spills oil everywhere. Fucking piece of shit Obama designed turd.

Yes, that is one stupid ass design.  I could go on for days on all the stupid shit GM "designs" then I could start in other manufacturers.

    Turn around time mofooooohh...  LOL

I touch up the edge on my Kershaw quite often, as I need it to be sharp all the time, I use that bitch for work.  Mainly cutting open plastic bags that parts come in...  LOL

I have a Kershaw leek with composite blade. Cutting edge is D2 tool steel (harder than a wedding prick) and the rest is sandvik stainless. Metals look to be brazed together  but could have been done differently. Great knife but absolute hell to sharpen due to the hardness of the blade. I also have a bunch of other kershaw blades and a few CRKT ones, some case, some buck, a few bear and sons, an opinel that belonged to my grandpa and various other knives. Right now they live in the top drawer of my bedside table with my carry pistols and spare mags, but there isn't much room left and I was considering buying a glass top display case to keep at least some of the nicer ones in.

What are you using to sharpen?  I have a couple diamond files from Kershaw that are pretty badass on the regular Leek blades.  I've wondered about those composite blades, may look into getting one for my EDC.

I have 3 Kershaw knives.  Good quality for the price.  A pair of the mid sized Leek models with 2 different serration styles and then a larger Shallot with the Damascus blade.  I have unfortunately not done a great job of caring for the damascus blade and one of these days I am going to need to polish the thing to get the rust off and then redo the acid dip to get the layers to really stand out again.  It's the only drawback of everyday carry with a carbon bladed knife is making sure to keep it oiled.

I have the on in the middle in blue, with a smooth blade.  Paid WAY too much for it, with the "Snap-on tax" and all.  I also have a practically new one like the top with smooth blade as a backup in the toolbox.  I would be lost without my knife clipped to my pocket!  (Top one and middle one are the same, except the Snap-on logo!)
